I didn't know but have just looked them up at www.wix.com/dgsport/home I think everyone in Bradford who runs a sports team should make sure they place next season's order with them. Thank you DG a014.gif

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7741.jpg

rlLinkrl

Just in case anyone had missed this, the announcement about the pledge is happening tomorrow 11:30am. This is to give the club enough time to count everything up and have one lass rummage for loose change down the back of the sofa icon_wink.gif

My real hope for tonight is if the attendance can push 20k. We nearly hit it last year and if we could pull that number in for this years game, it would surely go a hell of a long way to breaking the £500k mark. Given we've 10k season ticket holders, a 10k walk up would at £20 a head would see the club pull in £200k on the gates alone. Then add on to that concession sales for food and drink and survival begins to look close at hand.

Wow. Thank you again.

Is there any Bradford based companies out there? Take note of the fantastic example being set by DG Sport.

The support from outside Bfd is particularly humbling. I am involved in amateur RL and will do all I can to push the case for supporting your business. Good things deserve to happen to good people. Thank you.

I was talking to a lady at the shay stadium tonight, in a bulls jacket, who was on the phone to her husband (works at Bradford) and he said it doesn't look like good news for the bulls. He mentioned a Figure (which i can not disclose for certain reasons) and i got round to my mates in the stands (fellow fax fans) and we raised 740 between us which has been pledged. Just hope that the figure i heard isnt true and is only an estimate

You are a total star. Thank you again.
And I hope it's not true either. I am confident that we must have in the region of £420/£430K. But is it going to be enough. Nervous times.

Ryan sounded upbeat when I spoke to him before the game. He said the bucket collection had really surprised them, as in a lot had been taken.

I helped a bit collecting AFTER the match, and people were still chucking in, and we are talking notes here not just coins.

Lap of the Gods now.

It was £387k when you pledged! At worst tonight's average return will be about £12 and we budgeted for 16,000 that's an extra 4,800 in at £57k! That means around £445k so with the bar, other donations tonight and the virtual tickets we should be close!

I was gobsmaked at what people were putting in my bucket, we might have a chance if everyone has been so generous, but its all about the bigger picture I guess.

How final is this figure of £500k? Surely with the amount owed being spread over different creditors there is a bit of flexibility?

The guess was that reaching it would buy us 6-8 weeks to find the other £500k.

Surely if we reach £450k, that can buy us 5-6 weeks to find the other?

From What I've heard, the Actual amount needed was £496.5K.
When we confirmed our pledge, i was told that was at £387.5k.
Thus meaning that the Bulls needed to make at least £109.0k.

£109,000 / 20,821 = £5.25 per person

20,821 fans, say 3500 use their season ticket (say short on cash, Leeds fans with sour grapes or just wanting to watch the game for nothing (no disrespect intended to Leeds Fans)). - Average Ticket Price paid approx £12 meaning

17,321 x £12 = £207,864

Lighting costs, Stadium costs, Car Parking costs, Staff Costs (turnstiles & Gambles, ect). (Atleast Half of the Money coming through the gates)

That would help scrape the Barrel and just make enough with the bucket collections.

Ive been part of a company running a rugby Club in the past and it is a very hard business, an average game in front of 5000 people at an average ticket price of £12.50 used to bring in just over £16,000 profit

Just hope that the bulls have done the fans efforts Justice.
