Surprisingly, apoplexy's pretty thin on the ground amongst our lot, both over Tomkins' actions and his punishment. Fans of other clubs appear far more traumatised.

I'm sorry, I was under the mistaken impression that a large number of apoplectic Leeds fans booed Tomkins' every move for 80 minutes in the international, till the veins on the sides of their head popped. I must have popped in and out of an alternative reality or something, where "Booooooooooo" means "Huzzah, play up, Tomkins". |

No, the mistake's mine. I thought this thread was about Tomkins' behaviour during the cup final and the punishment he received, not an international game from a couple of months ago.

Ah, I see. You thought Tomkins' gesture was a purely random event, presumably done for no reason at all, and totally unconnected with any history between him and Leeds fans. I suggest your alternative reality does not help you understand events in this one. |

"Anti-Leeds agenda"? grow up, FFS. I do not have any "agenda", and the only item on this particular menu is against the Leeds morons who booed Tomkins all game. That was not (please) note) the whole of Leeds, or even all Leeds fans.
As I unfortunately omitted to obtain individual personal details of all the booers, that's the best I can do, but had they been from anywhere else, (even Bradford) it would make no difference, as ought to be obvious; I refer to their game-long booing, not their ethnic, national or local origin. An anti-moronic-booer agenda would at least be nearer the mark, though how you can turn an observation into an agenda is something Dynamo may well be interested in. |
