| Interesting Cummins says that the vultures are circling for players, what will RFL do if players leave and they won't let us sign anyone so can't raise a team?

| The vultures have been divvying up our TV money for the past year so I'm not surprised.
The sensible thing to do would be to place a moratorium on selling players until a buyer is found. If one isn't found within a certain timescale then they can all be made free agents.
I suspect other clubs will be able to pick off our players quite easily as the season goes on - IF we get another buyer.

| Can't the Bulls do a press release telling other clubs that the first team are ring fenced. That will surely work?

| Everything I hear suggests all this came totally out of the blue to everyone at the club, including the then-board. Make of that what you will.
I really really would like to know what seemed to change so dramatically from last Thursday till yesterday? Because I just don't see what CAN have changed so dramatically? Especially since the administrator - who has to have no axe to grind one way or the other - was clearly satisfied that the Moore/Calvert/Watt offer was the best for the creditors.
Nothing I ever heard was at variance with what Moore said about the support and guidance from the RFL over several months[i"...I was also extremely surprised by the current position of the RFL, given the fact that they have guided us and advised us on the majority of decisions made over the past five to six months. We were more than grateful of their assistance, as they have been integral in getting us to this stage"[/i. If they had indeed been doing what Moore said - they have not denied it, I see, just thrown grenades back in response to HIS grenades - how on earth could they suddenly decide that the guys were no good after all? How could this be?
Seem to me either one party was consistently misleading the other, one (or both) was dumb thick and stupid, or something happened or intervened to make one party change its position very substantially. I am perplexed.
Ample material for conspiracy theorists, for sure. But, in the meantime, the staff at the club - who have worked their nuts off during terribly trying and worrying times for them - have been royally shafted. Again. Something we might all want to reflect on when playing hell about how WE feel?

I don't think anybody knows who is responsible to put up the fence at present.

| "As you sow, so shall you reap" springs to mind.
Why not face facts and take your punishment like adults?
Alternatively pay your debts in full and start afresh.
You don't have a God-given right to a place in Superleague.
Abide by the Rules, pay your debts as and when they fall due and respect your supporters.
You've milked support from the surrounding clubs for long-enough.
You can fool some of the people for all of the time but not all of the people for all of the time. Hasn't Robbie Paul got any ideas?

You appear to be mistaking this forum for the postal address at Odsal or the administrator (or any of the people who have been running the club)
...and for your information I do respect my supporters.

The Administrator isn't necessarily concerned about Newco, he is concerned about value for Oldco creditors (or even just paying his fees).
The RFL are looking at the future viability of Newco - the Administrators and RFL are not assessing the deals in the same way and a deal acceptable to an Administrator may be completely unacceptable to the RFL.

Stop over reacting and get a grip. You're going through the mill and doing it very tough, but there will always be a Bradford team to support. Maybe not in SL, who knows, but there will always be a team for the supporters to get behind. Worse things happen at sea etc. I'm sure once the decks are cleared the bulls will prosper again

Could we start a seperate thread just for dip sh1ts like this to spout their drivvel at each other? It could be called "gloat about others misfurtunes". Then maybe we can leave this thread for people who actually have constructive things to say.
If I hear the words "reap" or "sow" one more time...

Indeed. Although that is a little hard to square with their central argument that Newco had allegedly not given clear commitment regarding settlement of the creditors of Oldco? What would agreeing or not agreeing to settle the creditors of Oldco have to do with the future viability of Newco? Other than the viability of Newco being hampered the MORE creditors they chose to settle? Is it just me that sees the inherent contradiction there?
And if the RFL had such reservations so severe that they would put newco straight into special measures regardless, they surely cannot have suddenly appeared overnight?
There has to be some key piece here we are either missing or are not aware of?

Whilst I wouldn't disagree about much of your assessment of the situation, what exactly does it have to do with either some of the pondlife which seems to surface at such times, or our hardly unnatural, dislike of it?

Isn't the relevance of that related to the points deduction, rather than the general viability of the business plan? Pay off all the creditors And if the RFL had such reservations so severe that they would put newco straight into special measures regardless, they surely cannot have suddenly appeared overnight?

Is suppose the answer to that is there was a process to determine the sanctions, from what I can tell the "special measures" and points deductions came at the same time and probably both followed the culmination of the same assessment. I doubt this is all overnight, the RFL clearly haven't been provided with sufficient comfort and have taken action they feel is appropriate.
I don't know anything about this chap apparently waiting in the wings - is he credible? Few quid to spare?
