I am still in massive sulk mode after last season and have not re-newed my pass and am finding it very hard to motivate myself to the new season, you guys nearly did,nt have a club. I think you might be underestimating your boys who i think will be seriously up for it, and i dont forsee a "Hammering". This is Hull KR we talking about and it would,nt surprise me in the least if it ended up a cliffhanger or you Knicking it. Good look for the season

HKR are promoting a 'bring-a-friend' offer to HKR members to swell the numbers - this happened last year for the opener against Leeds - but as for enticing the Bulls fanbase I have seen no announcements.

Maybe there will be a late offer after conferring with the new Bulls regime, but as you say it is late in the day (or week).

It would be great to set a new Championship attendance record, and maybe it will happen if the way your fans swelled the gate at Keighley last weekend can be a measure.

I can't see us getting hammered. Icon see us nicking it.

If anyone wants to pass this to Mr Toovey to read out as motivation for the team I'm sure it would help. Someone posted it on the HKR board:

"I'm sorry but anything other than a convincing 40+ point victory against that 17 would be classed as a disappointment in my view. Man for man we are far, far to good. I just hope we have that ruthlessness that we had last time we were in this league, beating teams by 80".

I understand the sentiment, and I hope they are employing an us against the world siege mentality, but unfortunately I suspect the above quote is all too true, if the hkr players click we're losing heavily.

I think most of us are expecting a close first half an hour or so as your lads give it a good go, I don't think too many rovers fans are thinking this will be an 80 point drubbing

I stated on our board that we are still quite a small (physically) side and in the championship that could be detrimental, I've watched our friendlies and we still look like a team getting to know each other. A lot of dropped ball and mistimed passes / man not where he should be. On the plus side we do look fitter and quicker than previous years.

I would be happy to just get a win on the board and all talk of 60+ is nonsense, your team will be up for this with a prove them all wrong attitude and that will certainly give you an edge to your play. The hard part for the bulls will come if they've gone a few without a win and inevitability has taken over both in the crowd and on the pitch.
