| Quote simonsays="simonsays"It's about time the RFL got a grip of the situation that Bulls find themselves in for the third time. All they have Over other Clubs is a larger Fan base. It's a business that gets subsidised by income via Sky . Khan used others money and Green got control on the basis of a loan he made. The Councils loan has never been paid back but plenty have filled their boots. The fans are arrogant in thinking that Taxes do not need to be paid.
Stop expecting hand outs it is getting Rugby League a bad reputation.'"
As opposed to the famously self-sufficient Huddersfield club, eh?

Really? So pray tell us, whose money did Khan use and how much?

| After following the club since 1962 I feel so disillusioned with this news. Where is the money going? We must be the club in the championship with the best income by a country mile. How do lesser clubs like Batley and Dewsbury avoid this situation on a fraction of our income.
Just noticed the Giants season ticket for me Is £95. It's very tempting.

Maybe give Marc Green the benefit of the doubt on this one before you jump ship to the dark side, eh?
If you've been following the club for over 50 years then I think you can afford to wait a few more days. If this was an oversight and the winding up petition is removed next week, then we're just as you were as far as I'm concerned.

| Get ready for another name change in your holding company! Gutted for you, I want to see a strong Bradford team back in SL. But I can't see that happening until you find an owner with an ability and willingness to pump prime the club with some serious money. The succession of failing owners goes back to the poor financial decision making of the glory days of early SL. Too much money spent, not enough earned and no where near enough invested in the future. Genuinely, good luck for 2016.

Cut price season tickets. That's a sign of a successful club if ever I saw one.

I agree with you and won't be going there. But less committed will when for £95 they can watch Wigan, Leeds, St Helens and other SL teams as opposed to paying £175 (in my case) to watch 2nd rate games. The Bulls pricing is wrong and the standard of performance of last season does not encourage fans to buy into the dream of getting back to SL. Especially when the coach persists with the likes of Luaki who would have looked crap in the pennine league.

| I quite like paying over the odds for watching championship games as an expression of my contrarian nature, which is a big part of my RL fan-ing in general. I realise, however, that this is quite some way from a scalable business model.

| TBH, given that the story was broken by the club themselves rather than by any of the "in the know" posters who frequent these boards, I think it's fairly safe to assume that the club are being honest and this is a genuine mistake

| Don't forget, if you all chose not to buy those overpriced season tickets to watch 2nd rate rugby then the club will die and it will all be your fault. You have been warned several times about this!

| Well, it's a classic symbiotic relationship. We have an owner, but no 'sugar daddy', so if either side decides to sack it then there will be no club. If it were ever to come to that, then there would be little point in worrying too much about who's fault it was.

The story wasn't broken by the club it appeared on Facebook and Twitter roughly an hour before the club issued the statement.
