Its a pity the real meaningfulness of this game has gone.

I would have been confident of a 5 figure gate otherwise. Never mind, should still be an excellent crowd watching 2 worthy teams of getting promoted IMHO.

But you would if they played for Bradford. That's the point everyone else but you can see. Look, we get it. You have convinced yourself that every Leigh player is better than his Bradford counterpart. If it makes you happy to think that, good for you, but it is a tad boring when you labour it.

And we have better referees too - take Joe Cobb, for instance!

All I've seen of Bradford this season is when we played them at the LSV.

Considering they ran us ragged for the first 40 minutes I think I'll wait until after Sunday before writing off 90% of the Bradford squad.

Still think we'll win though

We have played better than that since then but not recently so it'll depend which side turns up. Personally I feel we do have the players to have a shot at promotion but we lack quality at 7 which may be where we are found out. We've been playing nowhere near the level required recently but we're fortunate that in a couple of weeks the league points are wiped and all that has gone before will count for nothing. We have 7 crucial games and if we can find some our form we will have just as good a chance of promotion as Leigh IMO.

The big question for Bradford is can Gaskell hit the ground running and can we keep him fit now til October!

Going into the 8's in a couple of weeks time , to me Fax are the form team and should be ,it will be very interesting next week when we play the Bulls to how just how far we have progressed under RM,we gave Bradford a fair game at Odsal ,for me only full time fitness told in the end and if the Bulls don't turn up on Sunday or the week after then they could go into the 8's with 2 losses which is not a good sign.For me Leigh are a little operated they obviously have some very good players ,but have McNally,Pownall,Higson, who are nowhere near SL standard again though it will be interesting to see how they fare on Sunday ,personally I think they will win the League then and deserve it.

Think there should still be a decent crowd, even though the game isn't that important in the great scheme of things. I suppose it's the climax of the pre-season season so I guess both sides will want to play well and be rightly disappointed if they don't. Looking forward to the game, as always!
