I wonder if we could tempt him (or some playing at that kind of level) across. A "Come play a bit of top flight, get your name out there" sort of thing. I don't watch much Aussie stuff apart from NRL, so I'm not sure what the talent pool is like in the feeder teams etc.

Our signing of “journeymen” seemed to peak with McBanana in charge, Franny’s yet to sign a Worrincy, Sheriffe or Chris Nero type.

I expect just about anybody would do for the moment given we’re down to the last 17.

We know super league clubs pay so much to their 1st team squads that they can't afford an A Team anymore - so not surprising that 1st team squads can get a bit depleted during the season. Short sighted in my view.

So on the question of paying players more than can be afforded. Does anyone on here know what the Bulls annual wage bill is now? IMO, even with some expensive players gone the new owners might find there is insufficient income to meet even the current reduced annual wage bill.
