Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "What are you, Quote A Cliche"?

"Let's just see shall we".

Well, let me examine the alternatives to that
I sit with a family member of a player and he was saying quite a few interesting things that, if we'd played well I'd have taken as read, however after the last few defeats I'm inclined to believe, even if I don't want to.

Yes, he's biased but he'd no other reason to mention it.

One player had quite a bust up with Robbie over the missed wages in July and then subsequent "some did some didn't" scenario of this season, another (an overseas player) doesn't see eye to eye with Cummins at all, and that there will be a change of captaincy.

Now I sharn't mention those players are Bateman, Sammut and L'Estrange in case it's incorrect. icon_wink.gif

Now, either this has always happened and does so at every team and things bumble along without fans ever knowing, or there is a problem at t'Bulls that is in dire need of nipping in the bud.

As for yesterday's game *sigh* a poor performance happens from time to time, but on the launch of the season tickets?

I've no inside track either but yesterday was worrying. I thought Scrutes and Naz, who've both played well this year were poor. You could start to pick holes in some of FC's decisions but you have to let a coach in his first year, make the calls. I didn't understand letting Joseph go and bringing in Evans who might be a SL player but isn't right now. Similarly, as the season's wore on I don't see what Jamie Foster brings. Others will disagree.

There is, however, one thing that stands out like a sore thumb. Gale/Sammut doesn't work. The fact that FC dropped Sammut recently suggests he thinks it's a structure problem and Sammut isn't doing what he's told. From the terrace it looks like Gale moves in treacle and the ball is too slow. Against Hull, when paired with Addy he looked more at home but when Sammut came on he changed the game.

I've no idea if what inquisitor says is true but Gale's body language is unacceptable for a pro player and the signing of Gaskell suggests FC sees the problem at 6, not 7. It's a big call and needs Gale to improve dramatically for a good pre-season.

Stuck in traffic on the M62 and A650 for a couple of hours getting to the game, but I was still moving faster than the players on the pitch! Apart from a few honourable exceptions there seemed to be a lack of effort and no leadership. The body language some of the players were showing was dreadful and must have been a motivation for London

No doubt someone will correct me if my timings are wrong, but when I got there about 2.30ish, Foster was out practising with not too may others. The main body of palyers came out to warm up around twenty to by which time London had been out for some good length of time. It smacked then that we were just not up for it, and that has to come down to the coaching staff. We probably thought we only had to turn up and the victory was ours.

A lethargic performance by the Bulls which was unworthy of the club.
London had plenty of effort with players who still need to put themselves in the shop window

Mine worked superbly well : Mathematically correct with an intuitive input and elegant layout. icon_lol.gif
Sadly my predictions were nowhere near as good.
I blame those clubs who selfishly failed to adhere to my predictions by having the audacity to win when they should have lost.

Better luck next year maybe

Are we all getting a bit too exited about this, yes we had a bad performance, but it was stated at the start of the year that we may just make the playoffs, don't start trying to sack the coach in his first year, he did get us into 3rd place at one stage of the season.
A lot of poor/shady referring lost us a few games not just poor playing performances.

A terrible performance yes but up to a few weeks ago we were in with a chance of top 8. This team nearly matched last years effort. But last years team had Hargreaves, Burgess, Elima, Sibbit, Jeffries, Ainscough and others. Which were replaced by Foster Sidlow and 2 loanees. Sacking FC would be lunacy.
More worrying is the rumoured non-payment of wages.

But [iyou said[/i we would. You even had it all predicted out and everything. Very confident you were I seem to remember.

Don't tell me you got it horribly wrong?

does anyone know the ratio of games won to lost when Gale has been playing? might be just me but we seem to lose a lot more when he is playing.

We took 12 points (5 wins, 2 draws) from the first 10 games this season when Gale was out with injury. Since he returned from injury we have managed 8 points, winning 4 from 16 games.

cheers for that Czech bull thought it was worse than that but still not a good ratio when he is supposed to be one of the key playmakers in the team.in fact its poor when you consider that Addy was just a stand in to cover his absence.
