He's not as hard as Willie Mason, but I get your drift. Last interview with him I saw seemed to imply he was out for good though, also he'd cleaned up his act - anyway, no doubt we'll see, wouldn't be opposed on a short term basis.

I find all this hilarious. We are too been rumoured with Cooke & to an extent Brian Noble. You would imagine there is some truth in the Noble episode as the local rag, BBC & Sky etc have run the story. However the Cooke drama just shows me how desperate you are becoming. We have a forum about 4 pages long full of varying opinions on whether Cooke would be a good signing even at our level, I personally think it would be stupid to sign someone who A) has previously been a so called bad influence at clubs B) has declared on national tv they no longer have any passion for the game & C) is clearly going to be lacking in match fitness at the present time... To consider the first responses as to you possibly signing him have all been positive really shows me how badly you are struggling.

I hope its a cracking game on Sunday, and both teams do rugby league proud, but I cant help thinking if we were actually playing anywhere near where we were last year we would have a decent chance of the victory
