I suspect they must count season passes if they have turned up or not, as I guess a few season pass holders watched on telly.

I'll tell you what though, in respect of shutting that end, I don't like change, I had to not stand where I always do for the first home game since....well...ever frankly, (20 odd years standing in the same area) and Odsal just looked plain wrong from my new perspective in the corner by the touchdown. The sooner that end is back open the better, I fear change...

As a neutral I thought it was a poor game with little intensity until the second half. Although you didn't score at will like the first half your 6,7,9 clicked through the platform laid by your forwards, who were outstanding. I thought your defence was shocking against saints but line speed and enthusiasm was first rate tonight. good win and more important I'am sure from a fans point of view good performance from the Bulls.

My particular favourite Worrincy moment was when he over ran the man, fell over the would be tackler and tripped Lynch up! Quality.

Compare the stadium today to our attendances of 8k last year, and it'll be the same, just more people were bunched together today due to the closure of the terraces.

Fair enough, but my estimate and that of people stood around me was more like 6 or 7K at the most. Dont get me wrong, I'm glad it was that much, after last week, stupidly cold, on sky, it could have been any number, 8k is not too bad if thats what is was, in the circumstances IMHO it could have been a lot worse.

Bit harsh on Hall I feel, he made one or two errors but you cannot knock the amount of work he gets through!

shocker might be a bit harsh on reflection, but I do think he came up with some key errors and gave away some daft penalties. He and Worrincy stood out for me watching from the terrace as not putting in as good a performance as the rest of the pack, but maybe I shouldn't bracket Hall with Worrincy.

I appreciate that it puts me up to be shot at a bit here for having thought this previously but never siad it, but I reckon that the difference tonight from the last 2 games (in attack) was that the rest of the team are beginning to get on Ox and L'Estrange's wavelength. The two of them were making the same sort of lateral, showing the ball runs a lot vs Saints but without the runners. Tonight we suddenly gave them 2,3,4 even 5 options and they showed, particularly Orford, that they can rip teams apart. It looks to me like they clearly knew each other's games inside out already, it's just that noone else did.

I agree that Whitehead looks a banker for the future but I disagree that he's the best young backrower at the club - that's Donaldson, and given Worrincey making the 17 again I can only assume that he's being kept away from SL so as not to get into that whole too much too young thing.

Donno is fantastic too.
But Whitehead is the better of the two from what we've seen IMO. A more dangerous runner and a better offload and just as good in defence. He is 3 years older though so is more physically developed.
