Problem would come with injuries as we only have crookes with any SL experience as backup. despite what you think of platt he did give us cover for a few positions. We desperately need to sign some backs now just cant see where we're going to get them from.

Sykes had an absolute mare defending in the centres last year. I hope he's not going to be paired with Sheriffe again.

Having said that it depends on who comes in.

Reardon keeps being mentioned but I do have my doubts given his serious injury. If he's fit then he's ok and can cover fullback and wing but he's not really a centre.

I expect he'll be on quite a bit less than the £75k a year he was on at Wire.

If Kearney comes in to play stand off are we planning on playing Walker in the centres?

That would be my guess, with lots of "flexibility" between the backs, but again, the Platt story is not confirmed anywhere except the ever realible (?) daily express. (then again Walker, Kesrney and Reardon are not confirmed pubilcally either) It wouldn't surprise me TBH, but I'll await confirmation.

If Walker comes I imagine it will be for Centre, or maybe a slight possibility of Wing now that Semi's gone.

Season Ticket Holders who wish to keep their current seats are also reminded they must renew by 6th November in order to guarantee their seat for the 2010 season."

Sure they'll be a mad dash to sort this out.
