The only way our dwindling band of fans would accept a ground share without losing a fair portion of the current hard core would be if they saw that it allowed a significant strengthening of the squad, which clearly rules out VP unless Gibb bought us and let us play there rent free.

The only option for that would be Horsfall in city boundaries or, say Dewsbury, but the move out of the city is fraught with risk! I also repeat my concerns with how our landlord, the RFL, would view this loss of income of £7k a month or £84k per year if the figures on another post are accurate!

I don't see any hope for a new ground unless a new owner buys the lease back from the RFL the council sold the site for landfill and agreed to a one off settlement to surrender the lease, on the proviso a new ground is developed somewhere.
