Agree RF..Don't think he had enough behind him to see the job through, which is why I question the credible involvement of the RFL. |

Thinking of possible positive outcomes, if the RFL are happy with the new bidder but feel it is being wrecked by the old owner who wouldn't pass a fit and proper person test, they might let the Bulls liquidate but remain in the Championship under a new name, on the proviso that all other creditors are paid.

I can't believe Marc Green is able to veto a bid, so that the club is liquidated. How is that the best outcome for anyone? Including himself? That's why part of me thinks it's b****cks.

| If it is a case of Green being a petulant child and being greedy then he has destroyed the club. If that is what is happening then I hope the owner reassures the players, tries to keep them all on board. Go into liquidation and takeover tomorrow with the players signing for the new club in League 1 with Whitehaven taking our place in Champ. Try get a deal like Toronto for TV rights and then lets compete with Toronto for League 1 this season. Back in Champ for 2018.
Multi-millionaire backer, 90-100% of same squad, League One, no points deduction and no money for Marc Green. And as a token of good faith, new backer gives money to the other creditors to really rub Green's face in it.
I'm having a Tetley's anyway. Might help me calm down a bit  |
