| Maguires tries came off the back of poor defence up the middle, the a tacklers and markers not doing their jobs. in short, the big guys were fatigued and langley wasnt there! There wasnt a massive creative difference between the two sides, Leeds just exploited our weaknesses well. If leeds had been hit by injuries like we had, we'dve been able to do the same to them!
I hate excuses, but this time we have them. Not the officials, but a lack of numbers due to injuries to Diskin, Kopczack and Walker!

| I agree with Issac here, Gale was OK, he directs play fairly well, gets us up the field and into position. Theres just no link beyond Gale and we're effectively playing with 1 pivot. We need a really good 6 for next season, because I'm not sure if Sammut is that type of player that we're lacking and John Bateman seems a better backrower than a loose forward.

| To blame the heat is a nonsense. As far as I am aware the heat was the same for both sides?

| TBF i didnt think we would win this game, as we havent got the killer edge like the teams above us, we seem more suited with the blood and thunder games.
Castleford next week which will be blood and thunder, we win and the other results go our way like i said but saints beat hull fc then we will be in 7th 2 points behind them both and ahead of leeds and kr which is a good position to be in IMO, then we play saints the week after who are blowing hot and cold ATM.
All of the leeds trys came up the middle right through the spot langley usually opperates out of, we didnt move the ball to the wings much either considering the size advantage pryce had over smith. We still seem to panic when we get into the oppos 20, play to the kick, build pressure and try and get a repeat set.
Heat is a load of nonsnese i agree eddie, but the injures contributed to it more as the players didnt get any time to cool down whilst on the bench, but these things happen. They have been training in it all week and it will be sunny and hot uptill august so if thats the reason we need to get used to it quickly.

Not the heat Eddie, the fact that we had no or little rotation for large parts of the game.

| Losing Diskin is a massive massive blow to us, Lestrange doesn't have the same control of a game that Diskin does and things start to look sloppy, panicked and unstructured when he comes on, it''s like we lose all shape and discipline because everybody is doing whatever they want. Hopefully he isn't injured for too long and we can get him back on the field.

No your comment is nonsense. It would have been hard enough in any weather to be left down to 1 fit sub but it is stating the obvious that it is greatly harder to do 80 minutes in baking heat than on a cool day.
Also nobody is "blaming " the heat for the defeat. They are pointing out what any reasonable person would have to agree that in the above circumstances it was a very significant factor for us.

| Quote debaser="debaser"And the blindness to forward passes is really beginning to p!$$ me off now. If it's not going to be enforced then just do away with the rule. It always looks worse when the passing player stops dead in the act of passing, I prersume you are referring to the Webb pass. Personally I thought the inital direction was flat, but obviously it ended up well in front of Webb. There is no answer, nor does there need to be, modern rugby is based largely around the flat pass, consequently a number in any game are going to be marginal. referees are as human as the players making the passes & missing the tackles.
Quote debaserAnd it will be interesting to see how many matches Webb gets for his elbow in Kearney's face. Two matches has been the standard all season, one for an early plea. So let's wait and see....'"
Webb's attitude seems to be worsening as his talent erodes, he really does want snotting. If Webb cops a ban then Whitehead will be sweating, he does the same thing, I think ironically on Webb, shortly after.

| Nice to see us at least attempting to have some support play ie. mainly kearney, just a shame when he was there we tried too much to force the pass and it didnt come off for us, if only it did

You're suggesting we "do away with" the forward pass rule? That will really shake things up

Well put Isaac1, Leeds created, we lacked as on many occasions this season, on their line. Koppy only lasting 30 seconds had a huge impact on the game.
The breakaway game winning try was so obviously going to happen, Bulls were slow facing up and got caught out.
