This decision baffled me, he looked to get the ball down but if he bounced it and he didn't score then why was it a drop out?

I thought he'd bounced it and therefore confused to why a drop out was given. All I can think is the ball was grounded either on the touchline or just after it went out of touch.
Who knows - Halibut does come up with some baffling decisions!!
Still it was a cracking game with great respect being shown between all supporters.
Good luck in the next couple of weeks guys - I wanna visit Odsal this year!!!

Exactly, which was what puzzled us in the main stand, the only explaination I had was that they thought it was already out of play before Kearney touches it after a hull touch...but I doubt that, it was either a try or a Hull restart to me. I was too far away to tell, but it would have gone to the screen had sky been there for sure.
I didn't think pryce was poor fwiw, ran it in ok, didn't make any obvious errors and stopped at least one briscoe try in the second half.

That puzzled me too! However this was a game that we should have won. We dominated terrortorially but the final play was often too weak.
The third try was the best I have seen for some time by the bulls! A draw would have been a fair result and I cant see many knowedgeable Hull fans arguing with that!

Was definitely knocked on by Kearney and should have been a tap twenty.
Alibert was certainly back to his inconsistent best. The incident where Kearney was taken out close to half time was a clinical professional foul and clearly denied a try scoring opportunity.
No yellow card though.

| Alibert made some appalling decisions tonight (or, rather, didn't make the decisions) and I was left baffled on more than one occasion.
The try by Kearney was ruled out by the in-goal judge due to obstruction during the build-up (Kearney ran behind one of your players). Alibert was about to give it but then listened to his in-goal judge. (Unless you guys were on about the incident in the second half when he nearly got onto the end of a kick, in which case I wasn't really sure but figured that he must've been too late and the ball was in touch before/as he put it down).
Your fans were very vocal tonight, louder than some crowds of a larger size.
Your third try was pretty good, although aided by some very slack FC defending (there is no way we should have allowed you to make THAT many offloads).
I thought that Kearney was always a threat for you. Lulia took his try well, too.
Karl Pryce was poor for you. He had one good moment (nearly set up a try in the second half with his kick), but his positioning was poor. Was consistently getting turned around by Ellis' kicking and was slow reacting and getting the ball. His poor positioning - and naff attempt at getting the ball - was the reason for us getting the 40-20 late on. If we'd have kicked towards the other wing I doubt we would have gotten it.

| Lulia was great in attack and defence today. Same can be said for Bateman. Langley was immense taking the ball in today aswell.

I suspected before the game that we might be lacking a little in direction and unfortunately that proved to be the case. The kick gaming was pretty woeful, I think put either Gale or BJ into tonight's team and we would have beaten that Hull side.'"
Conversely, if we'd have had some of our injured players back, you probably wouldn't have done.

| Kearney def bounced it and did touch it before it went out, should have been a hull tap. The obstruction non-try was at the other end.
Worst decision was giving the 2 points for the missed conversion for hulls first try! Couldnt have had a better view and it went 2/3 foot wide of the post!
Great game and atmosphere, was expecting some stick from Hull fans but they were brilliant, massive respect for them. Hull are now a good team to watch too, very quick and mobile across the field.
25 quid in tho? No wonder Hull arent struggling!!

Who knows, we have a crippling injury list ourselves but that wasn't the point I was making. We just lacked a bit of a kicking game and some direction, BJ or Gale would have provided that.

That point came across in commentary. In fact the one criticism they had was Addy's kicking game was a bit directionless. But that's about experience as much as anything, and he'll be better in the long run for getting game time last night.

It was comfortably a metre wide. The Kearney effort looked a bounce from where I was sat and a tap 20. Lullia's first try was excellent and begged the question of why he never got another pass all half unless he was bringing it out from under the sticks. Time and again Diskin and L'Estrange sent the ball right and even when it came left it came to Langley who took it in. The try came from a great offload from nas and quick wide ball and Lullia and Purtell made the break. There's no point in making scoots from dummy half, catching the defence out if the next play is a drop off to Langley up the middle.
It was agreat efoort but we should have won. Our attacking structure is dreadful. If Bateman is going to stand so close to Lullia the ball needs to come quick and fast. Otherwise he needs to give lullia more space and take the ball moving. The ball from our halves was woeful and Addy's kicking was nothing short of aimless at times. I'm increasingly disappointed in Sammut who has been poor twice on the trot.
