| So after ive had time to kind of calm down and look back over the game again, i just cant see this season getting any better with macnamara now.
He has completley destroyed a once fantastic team, ok players like Pryce, Peacock etc were already gone when he arrived but the doss he has brought in is unbelievable!
Last night we lacked pace, power, simple ball handling skills etc and would have been beat by any of the other super league teams, goodness knows what score it would have been if we had played Leeds!
The team lacks leadership on the field and off it. We dont have a Jimmy Lowes type player that can rally the team. And im sorry but Deacon is not a good scrum half any more let alone a captain!! He lacks so much creativity. We miss speed in the backs and now get bashed about in the forwards when we should be one of the strongest packs in the league! We are missing Lynchy massivley!
Fair enough we have had some rotten luck with injuries so far this season but that should give the youngsters a chance to play! Macnamara will not blood youngsters for some stupid reason, point of proof is shown with Dave Halley. Why we let him go is beyond me!
So, looking to the future and the rest of the season, the only person i can see being able to turn this shower of s**t round is Ellery Hanley! Did cracking job at Doncaster last season and would certainly start to ruffle some feathers up at Odsal!
I will obviously carry on attending the games but what with the credit crunch, its just waisted money!

Not at all. If we all sung from the same hymn sheet then this board would be a very boring place indeed.
I just thought that the "shut up unless you were there" attitude was out of order, that is all.

The game being played on a Saturday is presumably one of these?

Re your first point - 100% agreed. So...
...re your second point - so why didn't you just say that (like I did I think a bit more diplomatically)?

Halley would play the way he did for us last season. The reason he is scoring for wakefield is that they are giving him opportunity to.
Ellery Hanley would be a disaster - good job at Doncaster, bad job at Cas

Hanley! You must be kidding?
Too many skeletons left in his locker last time he was here.
Never will he be alowed to darken the doors of Odsal again.

Why not? According to most pundits and many fans the Bulls were top 4 material this year on paper!

| Hanley fell out with Saints due to them cutting corners due to financial problems. As things like that appear to be the case here too I doubt he'd come.
