| Quote: DILLIGAF "I think it's more likely it is Potter and FA was being sarcastic, as it's been mentioned on here absolutely loads in the last week
I didn't read it like that, but my sarcasm radar could well be on blink on a 2nd look, I am half asleep today...
I'll know the next guy when he's introduced to the press at Odsal, whenever that is. And whilst I'm happy to wait, various OOC players at our club and others might not be, so the sooner we can get the right guy in and making decisions for next season the better, obviously.

| One would think they will try to recruit the best coach they can afford. That may not add up to a lot though.

They've probably got to do a bit of a balancing act - do you spend more on a "better" coach, only to leave him with less to spend on players?

| Quote: bewildered "Francis Cummings as the new Bulls head coach, he is after a head coaches job after all
Cummins is in the same group as Tony Smith (not the talented one) & Andy Hay as someone I would never consider as a SL coach. IMO he lacked bottle & I cannot imagine him having the balls to deal with player issues. Similarly, Graham Steadman, while significantly better as a player, also lacked bottle on occasions, which prevented him becoming a successfu SL coach.

Perhaps useful as an assistant though?

I feel that Poaching might cover an inadequacies that Cummins has in the 'bottle' department.
Seems to me that they are being lined up as a double act somewhere.

That's the feeling I got too. That Cummins would be a head coach with Poching as his assistant.

The summer season at Butlins will soon be over.

It might be, depending on which people, and who they are saying it is . . .

| Does anyone actually know anything or are we all whistling in the dark?
If someone is in the know, can they confirm it's NOT Cummins/Poching that would be a relief. Only the timing of Leeds' announcement is a little scary!

People on here or elsewhere, and who are they saying? I can't imagine it could be worse than a Cummins/Poching double act, but then I am open to being unpleasantly surprised.
