I've heard the Bulls have asked the RFL to switch the game to Odsal as they are concerned Fevs capacity is not high enough for demand for tickets

The Bulls have told the RFL they are confident of getting over 10,000 if it were at Odsal, the RFL have agreed to consider it and reach a decision by Wednesday. They have also told Fev if it gets switched to Odsal and get over 10,000 they will give them a bit of the gate money

Surely this is a wind up? Its a league fixture. How big the attendance is is irrelevant. Fev have a right to fulfill their home fixture. Particularly with what's at stake.

Nope I've heard this too, Fev have agreed to the switch but on the condition that Joe Cobb is referee. |

If I had a choice of one or the other, I'd rather Clough was back. Hard worker rather than the impact prop. But ideally both will be fit, as well as Kavanagh. I think those 3 coming back for what is bound to be a battle, would be a bigger boost than Gaskell being fit again.

Honestly, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda hope Gaskell isn't fit, and therefore any decision about playing him won't be necessary.
He cannot possibly be match fit, and the memory of him desperately trying to get match fit during the MPG last season is still fresh in my mind.
Getting Mitch Clark back would be a boost for the impact off the bench. If he's not 100% I'd honestly settle for Lauaki (again, can't believe I'm saying this...). I think he's been good this last few weeks. OK, he's presumably trying for a new contract, but still, I'd be happy with the impact he's given lately. |
