I travel from Leeds for our home games and usually see a young lass, could be about 9 on the same buses as myself going to watch the Bulls with her mum. Strangely they wernt to be seen on Saturday, perhaps they got an earlier bus, but I hope it wasnt her. All the best with her recovery all the same though.

She got a surprise visit today from some people you might know





I'm not sure who was more surprised - Nic when they arrived or the lads when she called each of them by name!

Great gesture from the club and those three lads. Bet she was delighted.

That is the most uplifting picture I have seen posted on here for a long, long time. Bet she was chuffed to bits - did not expect her to be looking so much progressed yet, and therefore wonderful to see.

Well done, again, to the club. Makes some of the hard times easier to bear when you see things like that. And well done to the players for giving the time - and probably an ideal choice of players too for the circumstances.

Another boy was recovering from his surgery in the High Dependency Unit next to Nicole's ward. The Sister working in the HDU had been looking after Nic and she was speaking to the boy's dad and mentioned that the 3 lads were visiting Nic. The dad said that his son was a Bulls supporter and would have loved to see them. Anyway, the Sister told Mrs Cookie and she had a word with the players and they went to see the boy as well! Made 2 youngsters very happy
