Just because they're well known (well to some anyway) doesn't make them multi millionaires.

Today, all the players and coaching staff awarded themselves a huge bonus each for their outstanding performance. It must have been outstanding, cos they all agreed it was...

Tomorrow we go to HM Treasury and agree the size of our huge bail-out.

Next week the bonuses will be paid, out of the bail-out, cos they were pre-existing contractual commitments.

Meantime, we go and sign a load of superstars, availing ourselves of the offshoring arrangements that our fellow banks have been using (how do you like THAT, Stains, Wire et al? ) to ensure no salary cap issues.

Then we sack all the existing players and coaches, with massive pay-offs cos we told the Muppet - sorry, the Treasury minister - at the time we'd need to do that but he was too busy counting on his fingers to appreciate the implications of what we said.

Job sorted.
