| Doesn't matter whichever team we put out, they train together all week..but what are they learning?..Every week TOO many schoolboy errors..A disgrace to put a display on like this from a full time squad. If players, leaving or otherwise don't or can't play without any pride,THEY SHOULD NOT BE SELECTED.

| Addy botches the kick off again. Penalty to Town which is kicked as the hooter sounds. Relegated Workington Town deserved winnners.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| Listening to Hobbo on BCB, he actually went as far to say that Addy was trying to lose?!? I've never heard that before. Was he really that bad?

| Oh well, the once mighty Halifax lost to Swinton in front of 500 fans.
The pyramid of Bradford/Fax & Hudds having it tough at the moment.
& Huddersfield have Davy's millions at their disposal! Hope they go down and join the Championship Party!!!

| Disgrace.... Not fit to wear the shirt.....pathetic ..... a new low?
The blunt facts are
1. We have already secured top spot
2. Most of us agree that the Shield is not any kind of prestigious competition
3. The coach decides to rest some key players
4. He gives two young players their debut ,plays 1 other youngster who starts his full time contract in November plus Mellor and Ryan
5 I count only 6 of the 17 who played today who are likely to be in the first choice game day 17 next year
I think the knee jerk reaction of some on here ( and apparently Messrs Gledhill and Hobson) is well over the top.

| There are two ways to look at it.
One is, the game was pointless, other than as an opportunity for a trial match.
The other is, whoever we put out, they should never in a million lose to Workington.
There's something in both, but the meaningless nature of the game I think puts the rest into context. It's not great, but pretty irrelevant, really, no conclusions whatsoever to be drawn.

| I don't know about Addy wanting to lose, but the way he was reported as playing, it certainly didn't sound like he was playing to win.

| While I agree it doesn't matter to an extent, the fact is hundreds of bulls fans (myself included) travelled up to Workington spending yet more money to see yet another gutless performance. I didn't think it would get worse after the Fev debacle. For me the performance highlights there is still an attitude problem in thinking we only need to turn up. Once again when the going got tough, we weren't prepared to roll out sleeves up and dig deep.
On to Addy. I never want to see him in a Bradford shirt again. If i was doing player ratings I'd say giving him zero was being kind. Its no coincidence we've put him in at 7 and our attack has fallen to pieces. Jarrod Sammut utterly schooled us. He got Workington the ball back from the kick off using the wind on 4 occasions, including on 1 occasion he booted at Addy, who came up with a school ball error of not using his feet and knocking on. When Addy kicked off he gave away 2 penalties. Add to that he also managed to bomb a certain try. I'd like to see that again as he looked over the line so I'd hope he wasn't celebrating before grounding it.
Oh and Howarth was beyond useless.

| You cannot, on the one hand, claim that an Oldham thrashing shows what might have been had Lowes left sooner whilst on the other, now claim this game is meaningless. Some of the posters on here are almost bi-polar when commenting on Bulls' performances or on their signings.
Rohan Smith talks a great game but, as yet is un-proven as a Coach; we have not made any consistent progress under him - that may be difficult of course when many players are leaving - but they weren't all leaving up to the Fev game.
Any fan loves the idea of signing players who are (allegedly) ready to bust a gut "for the cause" but none of our signings are proven; even Leon Pryce could prove a cost-ineffective liability.
The Coach and the players have much to prove and, given the long lead-in to next year's pre-season we have had, they have next season to prove themselves.

| Can I have some sympathy please. I went to watch Sheffied and Dewsbury, Nathan Conroy played well and Karl Price ran the water on well, I'll leave it at that

I would agree with that.
I would also add that nothing that happens this season could possibly come close to the low that was the Featherstone game. Largely because every game failed to really matter after Fev, and that game was truly truly dire.

Nobody has. HTH

After 2 minutes in the job? That's worrying

I would say in his first full season, all Smith can do is to make a start. New coach, new settled squad need maybe 3 seasons to gel and reach some consistent level. It's time we don't have, of course, and the reason for that is our first strategy failed miserably, so we have to start again, but that's the Catch22 isn't it.
