| Quote: Bulliac "I don't think it's so simple to be honest; the Stoop on Friday at 8pm isn't going to be particularly easy for the 'locals' either, given they draw their support from all over the capital and presumably the majority will have have to work before setting off for the game. To be honest, I think it's a total 'mare' for the Broncos management.'"
If I were a London fan I'd rather them play at an inconvenient time at a ground they know rather than move to another ground and lose all home advantage.

suspect its taken so long to announce because we've been arguing the case.

Even if the Bulls did disagree with the date and time of the fixture (and there is nothing I've read that they did),
I doubt there was much to be argued. The home drawn side has the right to decide where the match will be played.
Notionally all cup matches are to be played on the Sunday unless mutually agreed otherwise.
London can not play at the Stoop Saturday or Sunday by limitations placed on them from the Met Police.
If the two teams can not agree a date then the RFL will in it's "Absolute Discretion" make a decision - as they may have called upon to do.
There can be no appeal against this decision.
It sucks for the supporters but it won't faze the lads. Business as usual wherever whenever.

4438_1358277234.jpg Didn't gat an answer when I asked Radford how much he paid Stokes to save his job.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4438.jpg |

| I sympathise with you Bull fans. It is ridiculous of the Police to think that 3 or 4 thousand at the Stoop is going to create any problems with the 7s going on. I think ( but am not sure) that Quins Union have played at home when something has been going on over the road so it is Barmy. Bit like this weekend when we play Saints at 1.00 because the Army Navy is on over the road at 3. What is even more pathetic is the Old Bill making us shut the bars at 3! Is that not when their game is on, so why can't our bars be open till say 4.30.

| Whilst many of us will not be able to make the match now, there will still be a decent following from our fans who will put up some noise.
Respect to your hardcore fans over many years. Playing home games at Leyton, High Wycombe and Gillingham is similar in distance to us having to play home games at Harrogate, Settle and Leigh.
Quins have always made huge amounts of money in parking fees from attendees at Twickenham events.
Perhaps the Met want to see the St Helens traffic gone from the Stoop before the Twickenham crowd try to exit.

| Everyone seems to forget we have to travel north for friday games a number of times per season. We dont get big away support as we have to choose how many times we can afford to travel and how many times we can loose a days pay or a days holiday to travel in a season even the Magic weekend is in the north so come on down and enjoy the fun - we really are a friendly bunch and you can have a good time - we might even let you take second place - we understand the frustration of friday games for our away support probably more than any other team in the league - it takes us a massive amount of time to get to home games never mind away ones

| I don't think any of us doubt for a minute how much dedication it takes to be a fan of an outpost club such as yourselves. We want you to get more people through the gates but I have lots of respect for those of you that already do.

| Why don't London concede and have the game at Odsal they will have just as many Fans here as they will in London and the overall attendance will be greater.

| I think, as mentioned back in the thread, that the Bulls wouldn't really want to take them up on this loss making offer.

| Never a doubt that the Broncos would forfeit home advantage.
Even if, as is doubtful, they could earn a few quid more it would be a betrayal to their hard pressed home fans.
The Bronco's need higher profile home matches such as this to give credence to their status in London.
A win against us (perish the thought) would put them into the last 8 in the cup and create a buzz down there.
I believe that a strong/competitive London team would be good for SL, though how they even continue to fund themselves is amazing.

| The Bronco's have a lot to put up with but having to share a ground where they are a poor relation, that is in a suburban desert - difficult to reach on public transport must be a headache for them. Doubly difficult when the health & safety police stick their oar in as well.
