| I get the feeling Tasker ended staying on in sufferance due his close connection with he who will not be named.
As far as saying some of the old Staff shouldn't be re-employed well those that came back as volunteers certainly should be allowed to have a job back. We were grateful for their loyalty during administration, so I think it’s curmudgeonly to think otherwise!

It's not curmudgeonly to hope the club move forward unencumbered by the events and personalities of the past. You're right to mention Tasker's connection to CC, the same probably goes for Noble who I personally think has done nothing wrong. I also think that whether people worked for nothing during administration should have no bearing.

| So you’re blaming virtually all the Staff as well as the Old BoD’s and Main Shareholders. So who don’t you want back at Odsal then??

| No, I'd like to think we're past blaming but I would like to see change/renewal. I don't have a problem with LSH but don't think him and FC look strong enough. Medley has the strongest claims to be re-employed and am pleased for him. Duffy has many supporters but was a significant figure in an administration that was, as Tasker states, 'out of its depth' and engaged in a years long internecine feud.
I can understand why all three have been re-employed and in due course other new faces may well be brought on board. I hope so.

| Quote: DenisJ "Well I spent six weeks on Work Placement with him and he never stops.
He looks after the Media on a daily basis - that's sky, BBC, radio etc. Hosts the weekly Press conference at Tong. Writes and distributes Bulls Eye. Organises the Press on matchday at Odsal. Looks after the Press lounge and the aftermatch press con. Sorts out the Facilities in the press box, Updates the stats to give out to the media and deals with the photographers. While i was there a leading rl journalist told me he was the best in the game and in all his years at the club had never failed to return a call or failed to get the interview he needed. He also sorts out the Pre season media day, which is a nightmare! He updates and writes most of the stuff on the website and facebook and he edits the matchday programme a well as writing a large part of it.
He also does the Football managers role. He deals with the UK Border Agency - he is the only person at the club licenced to so that. That is a most important role because of you mess up the club can lose its licecene to employ overseas labour. he arranges all the fixtures and the changes, sorts out the clubs relationship with the drug agency - clubs have to let them know where the team is everyday. deals with the RFL on Salary cap, discipline- he goes with the players when they are called up - sorts out all the player's contracts, registrations. He also send in the squad every week. He arranges travel to away games, both here and to France and he attends all the clubs home games at all levels. On First Team days as well as the media he is the direct liaison with the match commissioner and stands by the dug out. he is in charge of that are and calls ambulances etc. He writes out the official teamsheet to hand in prior to the game and looks after the two way radios. He sorts out all the Player appearances throughout the year
He now has another job as well. He is Player Welfare Officer. He told me that involves sorting our education for the players as well as liaising with something called Sporting Chance. He was very active in that role when he was volunteering.
He is also a Trustee of the Bulls Foundation.
I am sure if you asked him to outline those things further he would be happy to invite you up to Odsal. He is there most days and during the season that can be seven days aweek as well as late evenings. He also handles all the Emails that come to the club.'"
OK, but apart from that what has he actually done for the Bulls?

The things that were astounding were prior to OK taking over and relate to a previous director, and if it comes out and it is true as i've been told, the fans will be baying for blood.'"
Interesting post jammle.. you seem to be confirming my own opinion about the great "untold story".
Mick Potter's handling of the situation was extremely diplomatic and his parting quote stuck with me.. something like "I am not leaving due to any issues with the new owners - its more about events during the past 5 months". Would have liked him to expand on that!!
I hope that one day the whole truth and nothing but the truth comes out - but won't be holding my breath bearing in mind the precedents set at the highest level ...

| Went to buy me season ticket on Saturday and Mrs Potter was behind the ticket desk. So if former owners/managers are the reason the admirable Potters are returing to Oz then that is yet another serious crime to add to the charge sheet.

I think, lest we forget, that Mick was intending to return to Australia two years ago but was persuaded to stay and coach the Bulls so it's no real shock that he's 'gone home'. You can't just up sticks and leave, so I guess Megan is continuing at the Bulls and simultaneously tying up the loose ends of their life in the UK, whilst Mick looks around for a new job in the NRL.
I guess it's possible there might have been a set of circumstances that could have led to them staying, I don't know, but my overall impression is that it's just the (planned) end of a phase of their lives from which they are moving on. Having met them, albeit briefly, I can say they are a really nice couple and I hope things work out for them.

Doubtless the above is more Neo-Olicanan wit (although this one took me a bit too fast on that last bend), but on the off-chance it is not or that others are not aware, don't forget rl[sizeFans' Forum Coral Stand Tomorrow 7pm[/sizerl.

| Back to topic: Stuart spins like a bloody top, no lie there. Campbell is a bloody amateur by comparison.
But if there has ever been anyone in recent times more loyal to or supportive of the club, or deserving of re-engagement, excluding Sir Michael, I have yet to meet him or her.
