Nope and things will stay that way if we continue to sign journeymen like KP. Look he might do a job for us but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be under-whelmed by his signing.

There will undoubtedly be other players that might be 'available' but not OOC. Perhaps those players are no better than KP, perhaps there isn't a great deal to choose from. Plucking the odd player from teams below you in the table isn't necessarily poor recruitment. But if they make up the majority.. are we really heading in the right direction?

It'll take more than one decent season from KP to convince me he is now 'realising his potential'. The situation regrading Raynor couldn't have been foreseen but it doesn't make it any less depressing from a fans perspective. I'd probably sign Senior/Goulding for centre and play Purtell on the wing.

If Goulding is OOC we should certainly make him a priority IMO....If not the KP would be an option, he should certainly score some tries outside a decent Centre (Lulia or Purtell)
