I'm with bigchris on this one. I do not like Bailey as a player, and I don't want him to join the Bulls. I don't think that what he has is a "bit of devilment ", as quoted by jpmac452 earlier. I believe that he has a nasty streak, that sometimes he can control and sometimes he can't. There are times when he appears to be barely in control, and that is not a help to his team, whoever they are. IF that could be controlled,he would be a decent player...... but can it?

I think the fairest judges on the merits of Ryan Bailey, are the Leeds fans themselves.

Whilst we, and most other teams fans dislike him as he is a bit of a pantomime villain, when he plays for your own club you tend to have a more balanced view.

The threads Ive seen on Sunstandard about him (and they are very regular) seem to be consistently underwhelmed by him - although he does have a small core of fans.

if TMFMISL isnt rated that highly by those that see him week in and week out, I doubt he should be by us either.


I agree we are short of nastiness in the props, but doubt Bailey adds anything but that. Would be nice if we targetted someone of a higher level.

Also for what its worth, 4 GF rings means he has played for Leeds for a while - it doesnt make him top class - because by that logic, he's twice as good as Morley?

Bailey can be very good but he's not consistent enough for Leeds, and he's not really lived up to the potential he had as a youngster. On the balance I think I'd like to keep him (not least given that we've just brought Moore in).

Scruton is hardly a world beater, although Diskin has played through injury, his overall performances have been lacking (with a few top performances in there somewhere) Chev Walker's injury status speaks for itself...
