We should use the products of our thriving Academy as a basis ,including a sprinkling of senior players as we cut our cloth accordingly.

Yay! First mention of cutting our cloth this time around
Well done you.

(a) if we had won the MPG last year, we wouldn't be in this mess
(b) if we had beaten Fev, we wouldn't be in this mess.'"
(a) Correct
(b) I'm not sure that beating Fev would have helped pay the players last Friday, unless the prize money was handed out after the final whistle. Green would still have the issues with Safeguard and probably the WUP on the Bulls.

This. Much as I hate the idea, I can't help but feel that Horsfall or similar is the way forward in the short term. Accept that we'd lose 1-2k off our gates, but we'd have a base from which to grow. At present we are dying slowly. Grim.

How are you managing to forget that had we beaten Fev, then on Saturday 6th August we would be AT HOME TO LEEDS?
How much do you think we would already have pulled in from ticket sales and sponsorship and hospitality etc for that match?
In comparison, how much do you think we will have netted so far from our percentage of ticket sales for the trip to Whitehaven, and will it even cover the cost of the coach?

| I don't think that we'd have sold 10k tickets last week. If Marc's in as much trouble with HMRC as we are led to believe then I don't think that the money from the Leeds gate would make everything alright. I'm not just thinking about this month's wage.

And that is why I blame some of the first team players more than Green. I believe they have let him down more than he has let us down. Even Ferres who did right in going must have done something right for 2 years to balance the books. After the BCB forum last night my opinion of Jimmy is getting lower and lower which is such a shame. I live a few doors from the parents of a current first teamer and what I have heard of Jimmy and his awkwardness and attitude wasn't good.

Maybe not 10K, But i reckon a very good crowd would have rocked up. We got 9.5k last year against Leigh. So lets say for arguments sake we would have also got 9.5k. that's around 6k tickets sold. Lets call it £15 per ticket considering some will be juniors/concessions etc. That's 90k just from ticket sales alone. Hospitality would have been full. Then money from beer, food sales etc
Also we would have had Hull KR (Excellent away support) and Leigh (Again excellent away support) I reckon you're talking around £300k from ticket sales, hospitality, refreshment sales just from those 3 games. We'll be lucky to make 3k in the next 3 months!
That's before we even get to the central funding.
As Woolly said, i still hold a grudge against this squad and their performances have massively contributed to the money shortfall. Let's not forget we were also knocked out in the first round of the challenge cup by PT Dewsbury, yet more lost income.
I feel for the players not getting paid and it is plain wrong. But i haven't forgotten or let them off for the their quite frankly unprofessional performances this season.

Or would the £4.5m debt in liquidation be more of a reason for frozen bank accounts.
Also can you explain why the bank never took this action for the two prior WUP notices but have now?'"
If this were actually the case then Fev's and Mark Campbell's bank accounts would be frozen every other month.

If the Bulls had of finished in the top 4 then Green could probably have borrowed some money somewhere(probably the RFL) against the guaranteed extra funding from making the middle 8's.

| Of course the extra revenue would keep the wolves from the door for a while but I only see the club heading in one direction. Green didn't have the funds available while Safeguard was seen as a profitable business. Now it's in liquidation with an estimated£4.2m(?) of debt and talk of borrowing more money?

Now that is a complete bad idea.....look what happened the last time the RFL gave Bradford a loan.....cost them their lease on the ground....

| Sincere apologies for intruding at a difficult time for all Bulls fans ...
Just wanted to ask *I have asked a similar question previously* ....
Can any of you Bulls fans see your Club ground sharing with Wakey or Cas ?
Now, I didn't go to Wakefield last season & when travelling away I am usually on a coach & had a couple of sherberts by end of play so I never remember the geography of Yorkshire RL Stadia but, would it work ?
Could Bulls share with one of these Clubs either in a new Stadium in a 'Middle Ground' between or Co Exist in a current stadium ?
All this on the proviso of surviving current issues or a takeover 'hostile' or not by a new investor.
Apologies again, wouldn't wish it on any Club so I will leave you be, interested in your thoughts.

| Bit of a distance away plus on some of the most congested roads in West Yorks (and therefore the UK). Can't see it.

I don't have a problem with us being outside the city boundaries. Not important to me at all. Ease of access for all supporters is though. Both of those are too far, and essentially predicated on access to a car.
Wakey is two bus rides.
Dewsbury is two bus rides.
Cas is most likely a trip into Leeds for either train or bus.

| Ah I see lads...
a definite none starter then.
Seems many share the idea that Odsal, other than not being a great viewing experience & a monstrous carbuncle 'as Prince Charlie' would call it' is a more than negative contributory factor to your financial stability.
Wish you all the best.
