| Quote: rugbyreddog "There is a frenzy because people are so used to being involved with the goings on in the club. Not only that, but they want to be involved. Once there is no communication you get the disconnect that other people have talked about. After the disconnect you will get apathy. Perhaps they should remember the old adage "Suppose they gave a party and nobody came".'"
I think this is the most worrying part to me. It's not so much that I think the club is doomed to fall into a financial abyss because they're not talking to fans. It's that them not talking to fans is turning a lot of fans into casual supporters. You've only got to look at a few of the people on here that are saying they are starting to feel no connection and are losing interest, some of them are some of the more loyal fans and ones who have been involved in the likes of Bullbuilder in the past. If they're losing interest, what are the more casual fans feeling?
I certainly know a couple of fans myself who sat near me last season and don't bother going any more, because they just don't feel the same love for the club, and I believe that's down to this kind of thing.
If it carries on too long, the club is potentially losing even more fans and if it has any designs of wanting to get into Super League in future, it can't afford to lose too many more.

| I remember the period of administration up to Christmas was awful. I searched the internet for updates every day. I was on tenterhooks. When Cha-Lo took over I was disappointed it was them but relieved that someone had taken over at least. The lack of openness and communication didn’t bother me too much initially as we’d done well to put together a side with some good loan players.
The past 4 weeks though seems to have undone the positives. I’m hoping it’s just a blip but getting stuffed regularly and seeing the young lads getting a predictable battering has made my doubts grow. There better be some reinforcements soon.
The business with the away shirts looking nothing like as advertised and the visa fiasco and the Chisholm fiasco hasn’t helped my view of the owners. Nor has the garbled communications coming out each week that lack attention to detail. It’s all so “seat of the pants” that whenever rumours abound then they’re easy to believe since real events aren’t exactly inspiring confidence.
If you do your job properly and consistently then you don’t get crappy rumours springing up because people have confidence in you. If however it’s all a bit of a shambles and there’s no communication then people jump on the rumour bandwagon.

| Regarding the recruitment, I'm still holding out a small degree of hope that we have some forwards lined up that need Visas and the club have learned the lesson about announcing them before they obtain the correct paperwork (see Phoenix saga, and I'm not talking X-Men).
The thing that makes me believe that though, is nothing to do with any communication or hint coming from the club. It's the question of "why else did we leave squad numbers 10, 12 & 13 free?"

And Murray in Salford's, Larroyer in Castleford's.
Saw that Josh Jordan-Roberts had an operation too recently, so he won't be available any time soon.

| Looking like another defeat then for the young lads, though this one is a game we might have targeted as a possible win with a few forwards on board.

Ive not posted on here since the liquidation as I too was one who felt a lack of connection, largely as it was my own opinion that the club starting off 2017 was a totally new club. To this date I have attended most of the home games (as a season ticket holder) and have looked for the updates regarding the club but do not have the same connection as before.
I said it before and I'll say it again... This is a new club. The previous history is gone, so has the honours. It all started from scratch for me and therefore I would rather go by this than expectations of the past.
Anyone who has started a new business will know that it just doesn't go smoothly to start with. Not in the first 12-24months. It will take 3-4yrs for it to bed down so when I hear folk talking about SL in 2yrs I take it with a pinch of salt.
I continue to follow the new club only because I cannot bring myself to watching other teams who have been used to being our rivals.
Perhaps it might take supporters just as long to get used to what has gone on as it will for the club to settle down?

| And it has only been 3 months. I had a 3 year spell when I started a business and I agree totally. It was the toughest 3 years of my life getting everything sorted that I didn't realise when I dreamt of starting it. Luckily I sold it and moved on and I can only imagine what they are going through just doing the day to day things.
The difference is they are judged every weekend on their results which is why they are in the spotlight. But they will have known that. All we can do is hope they have a plan - even though they are clearly not telling us.

I understand what you mean. However, the Bulls are in the entertainment business which means they have to attract people to watch their product.(This is a slightly different business model to normal). As such they are not starting from scratch as they already had a fanbase. I doubt there will be many left in 3/4 years. I am sure that you didn't decide to go to Bulls matches because you were attracted by a totally new business and their advertising, I think that you were probably attracted by the fact that there had been a business before that you had liked and so you went back. Whilst in some senses it is a new club in a lot of ways it isn't.
As an aside I think that there may not even be a SL in 3/4 years let alone a Bulls club.

You are correct
@TheGameCaller
The Game Caller Retweeted aarron manning
Regarding my last tweet it's regarding the club's dual registration partnership with Widnes. No sightings of Phoenix or Chisholm.

Doesn't sound like it. I don't believe anything I read anymore. Not having a go at Mick, I mean from loads of others too.

| Well maybe someone at the club is listening to better communication as the first time in a while we have an injury update. Unfortunately its not good news.
Bentley out for 3-4 weeks. Peltier is however looking to be back for the London game which is a big boost
