| Quote: dddooommm "Frustrating game for both sets of fans. Lots of dropped ball in the final 15 minutes which neither team took advantage of.
With Burgess going in under the sticks I thought we may have done enough to take the spoils but Salford piggy backed their way up field and grabbed a late score which they probably deserved. A draw was probably a fair result but both teams will probably feel robbed.
The amount of ball we put down in the final 20 was criminal.'"
Can't argue with that. Disappointed we didn't manage to put it beyond doubt when we were 2 points ahead and Pryce got the interception for you to get the go ahead try.
Out of 10 consecutive sets between the two teams somewhere around the 60-70 minute mark, 9 of them resulted in knock ons.

Salary cap - you're havin a laugh.: |
|
| Elima was sin binned for pulling a Salford player back as he went for a loose ball 5m out. Probably saved a try (until the next set). Average game overall, with numerous dubious decisions for both sides.

Indeed, one the calls that Silverwood did get right tonight.. It was a clear sin binning for foul play. We got a couple of tough calls in good positions in the latter part of the 2nd half. He missed a clear knock on from Patten and a ball steal in Salford 30. But we also made far too many errors and came up with some poor options on their line. The knock on by Burgess when we were leading 20-16 and then to compound it with a penalty was suicidal.
Pryce had a superb game. Not only did he score a great hat trick he also saved a score from Salford with an intercept and how he mananged to get back in the field of play fielding one kick through I'll never know.
We gifted too many yards tonight and we have to get this fixed up pretty quickly. I thought a draw was probably the right result with neither team much better than the other. It would certainly have been tough on the Bulls if Salford had of snatched victory at the end.

You can always rely on burgess to drop the ball & the other team get possession and then score

| Terrible conditions. Lots of errors from both sides.
1 point is better than none, and it could quite easily have been none.
Highlights of the game for me were Lulias tackle on Patten (Think it was?) and Pryce's interception (which in the end is probably the reason we got a point)
The KP that takes his chances when offered them and makes the right decisions about coming out of the line is definitely worth another deal.

| Some very good stuff and some very poor. Even the wet conditions didnt explain the amount of lost ball inside their 20m.
Nice new tidy ground, but how did it get planning permission with such limited road access?

| After the Odsal game against Salford I think the result was a point gained.
I think for most Bulls fans next weeks game is a must win, even if were 20 points clear at the top!

| From Connor Murphy:
@MICKtheGLED I was seriously impressed tonight Mick. It was as loud as some away trips with United.
Long may this rejuvenation continue.

| Salford knocked on fielding our 2nd half kick off. We never looked like getting over their line from the resulting set and then had a shocking 10 mins turning the ball over with a knock on or a penalty umpteen times and having to drop out 3 times. We lost all the momentum built up towards end of 1st half. However we did eventually get back in the game, and in front, only to chuck it away again. Knocked on straight after our last try, then gave away pen, then Ollie sin binned and ,inevitably ,they scored.
Far too many pens given away for laying on in tackle; this MUST be sorted.

You really are an odious thing aren't you. I don't think ever read a positive comment from you, just negative, uninformed b*llocks.

These two, whilst lacking a bit of knowledge, actually appeared to be watching the match. Not sure what happened to the usual pair, but long may it last!'"
they were very funny shame the coverage kept disappearing

| We dropped too much ball and gave away too many silly penalties to win it so I'll take a draw. Also a massive improvement on the home match. Salford are now our bogey team so it's a point away from home gained for me. I can't see why they shouldn't be further up the table to be honest with Smith, Patten and Holdsworth in the middle I was really impressed with our defence at times to keep them out.
We need Kearney and/or Sammut back fit.
Smart ground, the main stand is impressive from outside, the staff were as firnedly as they were at the willows but the access is terrible. The scrap to get out of the gravel was pretty bad and then the queue from there round the ground to Liverpool Rd and back to the motorway took as long as it took to do the rest of the journey. Also the hot dog I had before kick off was rank. Did anyone else notice the police horses riding round. What a waste of money! Since when have you needed police horses at a Rugby match?
The last game before it came out that we were in immediate financial peril was Salford at home. The last game before the results of the strategic review are announced was Salford away. Weird how things pan out. Just hope it wasn't our last game.

| T&A was fairly damning of Pryce's defensive effort. Did his defensive lapses cancel out his go-forward?
