That's true, but I think the point which has emerged is that the RFL decided to change the standard contract by altering a number of clauses;
one of these is that the contract does not become binding UNTIL REGISTERED BY THE RFL.
So assuming that the contract is a standard one, and I believe it is, then it makes the Bulls' case stronger. |

On a side note, Greg Bird's appeal over here has been upheld, so he's potentially coming back to the NRL. It seems that Catalans two "targets" appear to be Chris "Walkout" Walker and Willie "Take that, Fielden!" Mason. If we can get them to take Walker, we can hope that the whole "legal procedings" threat might go away.

With all due respect to James Gordon and his fellow writers there, it seems like most of the news reported there is the same stuff that's already been reported elsewhere, slightly re-written. Most (if not all) of the content in that article is where we were at a few days ago, and the Orr quote about Kearney getting on the plane is definitely from last week.
