The problem with a thread like this is that everybody wants to hear something different. If Marc Green says one thing and you want to hear something else then the immediate response is "Well he would say that wouldn't he". As for being in Ibiza I would just say there are times when I wouldn't even go from Queensbury to Odsal.

We could yet see some of the academy players given the opportunity to play.

I still think,under the circumstances and unless we get a sugar daddy,we should ground share as Odsal is a tombstone financially.
We should use the products of our thriving Academy as a basis ,including a sprinkling of senior players as we cut our cloth accordingly.
Rebuild on sound footings and increase our strength as a Club step by step.

No doubt Green is telling the truth when he refers to his current troubles, but to me the big difference between this farrago and previous ones is
(a) if we had won the MPG last year, we wouldn't be in this mess
(b) if we had beaten Fev, we wouldn't be in this mess.
