What time is kick off? - Bulls webpage countdown just now says 1hr 28 mins so I assume its a 3pm kick off?

For those who went, how did the young uns do?

I thought the team played well. The early try for fax aside we were pretty much in the drivers seat all afternoon.
The new guys seem to be clicking well and our discipline seemed much improved as there seemed a lot fewer silly penalties given away

We defended well. We didnt have any real idea in attack. We had 5 or 6 chances in first half we should of scored. They scored and that was it.

From listening online we sounded much more solid in defence. We did well in attack too considering we were missing our first choice halfbacks.

I thought they played pretty well. I was more nervous than my lad before the game. Could do with another prop like Crossley

I agree Rodge. It's a long season and we need a bit more experience up front.

Even though it was just a pre-season match I think we can take a lot from that game. It'll be interesting to see how Elliot goes against his former teammates.

Played well. Apart from the first 5 minutes, which seemed to be a bit of a wake-up call, we generally out-enthused Halifax. Our academy kids seem to be further along in development than their lads, partly due to our set-up I would think and partly due to the 1st team games several of them got last year. Kear certainly seems to have them enjoying the "D" more, which is a massive improvement already, after only a couple of weeks.

Yes he's looking forward to it, hopefully another good team performance
