| I really like the kit. At Wibsey we had Steeden gear like 3 seasons ago and I always thought it was great gear so glad to see they’ve done a great job with the kit.

| I’d forgotten about Anthony Walker. He was unlucky at Wakefield he was with us when Fifita, England, Huby and a few others were ripping it up and never really got a look in. What I saw of him I liked.
As for Brough you’re on a winner there. Brough is a rarity, he loves money for sure but he loves playing even more. Whatever Brough standard now is I guarantee he will play at 100% of that standard. There is also no doubt he’s the smartest halfback in the British game, his legs have gone a bit but his mind is as sharp as ever. Will also make Lilley a better player.
With Brough on the field and JK off you’ve got a better chance than you think. Those two just gel and together can make other ordinary players look much better.
I see you as top 6 for certain so long as you don’t pick up too many injuries.
On the down side there isn’t much in that team you could take into SL.

Tbf I do agree with most of that though I do think there are a few that would go well and a few that could do with a chance at superleague level

Yeah I’m thinking like, Crossley great at champ but would need to be a lot fitter, England looked like one of best props at wakey game, Nzoungou, Evans, Oakes, Pickergill, Gallagher, Doyle, Scurr, Brough, DFJ steps up well, even maybe Fleming

| From the T&A
BRADFORD Bulls seem to have pulled off a great steal by recruiting two England academy internationals from Leeds Rhinos.
Joe Burton and Rian Rowley will join Leigh Beattie’s under-19s for the 2021 campaign.
Seems we have high hopes of these guys for the future.

They played in the 62-0 beating of Wales under 19s Rowley looked particularly good in that a real big solid unit and Burton I think was in the largely academy side that beat Featherstone

| Like to add, I was very critical of the old Bulls and those fans on here who covered for them, still am.
No club is bigger than the game and no club has the right to the top flight.
Sorry but you got what you deserved, the club, not the bulk of the fans obviously.
Now you’ve done your time imho and I’d love you back so long as it’s on merit.
I honestly think JK and Broughy can get you there. Wouldn’t keep you there but that’s another issue.
Personally I loved playing you lot, a team we always raised our game for. Nothing beats a ground full on all sides,
Best of luck

Correct, no club is bigger than the game and you'll probably find that Bulls fans are the most critical of the club (well the previous owners) and I for one am critical of the new owners too, even if I do hope they are right for us.
Quote: vastman "Sorry but you got what you deserved, the club, not the bulk of the fans obviously.'"
Can't agree with this. I 100% agree we should have been punish for our financial failings (overspending in our winning years, then subsequent admins/liquidation). We should have been punish as the rules stated. However who punishes financial issues by denying the club the very money they are entitled to and contracted too? So along with points deductions our central funding was slashed then given to other clubs which makes more disadvantage. When we were liquidated we should have been relegated to the bottom division (League 1) that's the rules with liquidation. All fans wanted a fresh start at the bottom league on 0 points. However we were forced to stay in the Championship, forced to take the lowest funding, banned from signing players (hence the loans from Leeds) which meant a threadbare squad filled with kids AND given a 12 point deduction as our 'price' to stay in the Championship?? How is that getting what we deserved? We deserved to be treated according to the rules and we weren't. We did deserve punishment but not what we were actually given. I'd have said the same about any club.

Yeah I'd prefer to come up on merit. Really looking forward to the season. Built a decent squad and the Championship is a great competition with some great teams in it. Love the games against Leigh, Featherstone, Widnes, Halifax and York. Yeah Brough will be good but as you say need investment in the squad to go up and stay up. JK could still do a job in SL, better than some coaches.
Hopefully we'll be playing you soon Who is it that you support again?

| Update from Startrax
PROGRESS UPDATE
Following an exhaustive day and meetings Friday we have completed agreement to proceed with ODSAL in 2021 and work will commence in January with a confirmed planned opening of SATURDAY April 3rd followed by 24th April.
There remains an awful lot remaining and many, many more meetings, the first this Thursday in terms of stadium licensing, our hope is to have the 'build plan' in place by Friday, I would like to thank all that came along to Odsal friday, FWJ, JJ, Pete Falding, Karl, Graham Robson, Scott [ contractor ], our track curator Andy Meredith, Andy and Sam and forgive any I may have missed, to consolidate the 'scheme' into workable reality. Beyond our control in the late Winter is weather during the build.
SO we move from one phase to the 'reality' phase and I am under no illusion, this is where the stress and hard miles start! Thankfully we have some great people around us. We have a 'budget' however we have to stick to that budget without which, it ceases to be viable and I have no 'money tree' as such to draw upon. However, we are humbled by the 'support' from Stock Cars, Bulls fans and Speedway and all have a part to play in 're booting' the stadium in an affordable manner. Over Christmas when it is quieter, assisted by Sophie we are going to data basis the scores of people, skilled and unskilled who have kindly offered support to then arrange a workplan within the stadium during February and March - it is all achievable and #MAKEODSAL HAPPEN is our sports coming together as a community to 'help' rarely bring a major stadium back from the brink of extinction - it is a team effort and has to be. It was great to also welcome Gary Stead along Friday and we are seeking to encourage Gary's involvement from a speedway perspective for the future which looks 2022 and beyond.
2021 is NOT going to be easy with the future for the country being 'uncertain' and we have weighed that heavily in our own 'risk factor' as much as the Bulls and RFL will be. Hence, for the first two events the initial availability will be 2000 per event - IF as the late Winter into Spring progresses, we will have a bigger understanding of where we are going, at this stage we have to be realistic - or defer the project.
Tickets for the two April openers will go on sale 10.am January 1st and the best support and contribution for us would be a 'sell out' lol - we will also be putting on sale, 140 only VIP South Stand 5 year debenture seats - again limited availability in superb and unrivalled facilities.
We are therefore committed that Odsal WILL open in 2021 and at this juncture with the huge workload ahead, hope we can trust in and rely upon the support from our communities to help this complete.
In ending I would like to thank Tony Sutton COO of the RFL in is guidance and support to 'make this happen' and our new friends at Bradford Bulls, Nigel, Mark and hardworking secretary Tracey and be assured between Bulls and Stock Cars we are very much 'as one' to overcome issues and 'work together' to create a new and viable future for Odsal. Our mantra will be to hopefully under promise and over deliver and be honest.
Thank you,
|

| So I still think we need a couple more players to be serious contenders for promotion this season. Hopefully Kear has a couple in place.
I’m hoping the first game is against either Whitehaven or Swinton at home. To hopefully get off to a win followed by an away day at York or Featherstone to get a good atmosphere.

Theyll prob go derby's first off, with the hope crowds are allowed back.
I'd imagine it be Bulls/Fax Fev/York.
