So I finally believe I may be joining the elites and I finally qualify as being ‘in the know’.

I’ve always wanted to say this but ‘my source tells me’ that we’ve got 2 new lads training with us which I assume are signed or at least look likely to sign or why would they be training with us. I assume one is definitely signable for us but the other may be on loan or DR potentially.

Catch-22 situation. Low ticket sales mean signings like this. Signings like this won't encourage better ticket sales (in fact may have the opposite effect considering the previous record of the bloke, that's been conveniently left out of the story on the website about the signing). I think he's what we need. Tough and nasty. We've had a soft pack ever since we got relegated from SL so hoping he can change that.

Taking away his off-field misdemeanour (putting it politely) he's been out of the game for 4 years. That's a hell of a long time to come back and be decent.

I'm not comfortable with the signing. I can't stand the guy. But I suppose I'll have to get use to it as it's the only way we can survive financially.
