| I cannot believe this thread!
NOble led us for five and a half seasons, in which we won Super league three times , World club three times and a challenge cup.
Since he left, we have not made a final!
He, like McNamara, had a board with a charman above him and policies were formed that informed his recruitment strategy! He was allowed to sign players and let players leave, just like every other coach we have had.
He has since been at wigan where upon his arrival they were bottom of the league and looking like dead certs for relegation!
After 3 years of making the playoffs (including handing us a couple of hidings) they have seen fit to let him go.
I would love him back at our club, on the coaching field where he does his best work. Watch the GB trinations documentary (I forget its name) and you will see how dynamic he is when working with players.
With him on board, we would get things back on track!

| Spoke with Nobby some months ago in Guiseley and he indicated that a return to Bradford was possible as a certain change in the Board could be occurring? Who knows? Personally I'd welcome him back.

We all like a good Harry Ramsden's now and then, but I would have thought moving in was a touch excessive.

So, it is now confirmed that the coaching set-up at Celtic Crusaders for 2010 is:
Head coach - former GB head coach Brian Noble
First team coach - former Great Britain assistant coach Jon Sharp
Assistant coach - Wales coach Iestyn Harris
So, three international coaches for the Celtics. Well, sort of. How would the panel have viewed that coaching setup at Bradford, if Mac had got the boot?

Personally I'd have been quite happy with that, we could have let Iestyn play a bit of loose or hooker now and again to keep his hand in...

I don't think anyone would complain about that to be honest.
