Rather than registering a new domain and all that, wouldn't it be easier to just rename the forum to .com?
(I appreciate, I have absolutely no understanding of if that's easy or hard)

Yup, and if we're having a new banner competition, I suggest we put RedAmberAndBlack.com on that as well. I assume renaming the forum is a 2 second job for someone with suitable rights. |

Could do, but as has been pointed out, I made a bit of a boo-boo and redamberandblack.net works just fine. But I agree, there's no reason why the banner can't simply read "Red Amber and Black".
And I also apologise that this thread has got a bit off topic, that's my fault too! Don't I just look the idiot eh? |
