He reneges on Shudds, we get sued for cohersing him, and go bust again?

He could wait until they play Catalans away and just not turn up at the airport....

| Like GoB did with Wire, he could just say to Hudds - "I really want to stay at Bradford pleeease" and then, like we did, they should release him from his contract. Although GoB was staying in SL when we did that I suppose.
Option 2 would be to see if they lost the MPG to Leigh, then we could get him back at that point as his contract would be voided with relegation. Few other players there who we could look at in that case

| We're trying to get Sam Wood on loan for rest of this season, Anderson doesn't want to commit to a full season so he's currently at Oldham. He wants to come to us tho'

| Sam Wood or Kyle Wood?
Sam is an outside back if I remember rightly. We can't be doing this again, filling up on three-quarters.

| Sam Wood? He's a great young player. I just wish OUR academy could produce players like him the way Hudds one does

Well at the moment we're massively light on centres. Blythes not good enough. Walshaw is a second-rower, Purtell is crocked and JPB seems to have dropped of the face of the earth. Then's only Welham who's a natrual decent centre at the moment. Wood impressed me when he made his debut, particularly defensively, which is a weakness for us.

| Why would we be trying to sign an academy centre? Seems a bit odd. Is he really that much stronger than Ryan or Oakes?
Maybe Kieren Moss won't be playing at fullback, but at 6, with Clare still at 1. If Blythe and Purtell are still injured and Walshaw is concussed (?) then maybe we're stretched for cover?
I don't even know anymore, just all guesswork at this stage. Friday's squad could be interesting though.

What's wrong with giving Ethan Ryan or Ross Oakes a go? Not to mention Clare if Moss is used at fb.

| Not to mention Jonny Campbell and James Mendeika, who may or may not be anywhere near from returning from his serious knee injury.
Fair enough they may be squad fodder but might as well give them a chance too. They may even last longer than Walshaw.

| Can't blame him for not playing Campbell, he was shocking against Sheffield. Another ridiculous signing (along with Mendieka).

| Why can't the backs be
Moss
Caro
Welham
Clare
Williams
Charnock
Thomas
That's a young and quick backline with everyone playing in their correct position. Yet again Thomas was hauled off after a poor half against Dews, its about time we showed some faith in the lad.

I didn't understand that. I've been as big a critic of Thomas as anyone in the past few months, but he was one of the very few players who looked like a threat to Dewsbury. Unlike his half back partner who had done next to nothing. It would have made more sense to take off Mathers.
I know Thomas struggled to handle Shane Grady for the first try, but we needed some fire in attack, so it seemed an odd choice to me.

Agreed. We have got to let the lad make mistakes. He's a young HB in a side that's chopping and changing every week. Play him, let him make mistakes, improve and gain some confidence. He's the best and quickest passer out of the entire team at the moment. He was putting in some reasonable kicks as well. When he went off we only had Addy to put a kick in. Didn't have the best of halves, but neither did anyone.
