| Sort our discipline we win this
Going of Micks commentary it's 5-1 to Toulouse in the penalty count plus a sin-binning

| Lost that ourselves with two sin-binnings again. Would like to see the Fulton tackle and whether that was sin-bin worthy.
Gut wrenching but we need to learn from this. Dust ourselves down, we're on an upward trajectory. Wakefield will go up to SL. Be interesting to see what happens to Toulouse if they don't go up to SL.

| Shame, I was hoping to play you in the final...would've been a great atmosphere with your fans there.
York gave us a wake-up call today, I think they'll go well next year.

I thought this year's Championship was immense. I've had issues with the "SL needs Bulls" nonsense, but the club really do seem to be on the right track now.
York flattered to deceive, but showed their class in the end. Bulls were good all year. Widnes threatened.
IF Wakey go up, London will add another dimension to the comp...but imagine a division where TO have gone up also, with Cas down..oh my!
Next week could be interesting.

| I think York could be the team to watch next year, and with their stadium and ownership could be the next to make SL. Odsal is going to hurt our score until/if it's renovated.

| Agree with the above. Fantastic effort from the lads who gave it their all. Was always going to be a tough task and we didn’t quite have enough on the day to get the job done but they can hold their heads high after this season.
With all that until we get back to full time and sort something out with old lady Odsal we will always be short of a return to SL.

| We gave it a good shot but came up just short again.
It’s not an easy place to get a result for a part time team, travel issues, playing conditions your not accustomed to, but after a poor start we did very well to go in at half time in the lead.
Couldn’t quite pull it off in the end, think we lost our chance with a couple of slip ups in the league, where we could and should have finished second and would have fancied our chances at home.

| Well sort of summed up our season in one game didn't it? Big effort, some quality but discipline poor and wasted opportunities in attack. End result was another 1 point loss.
EOC will probably be pleased with the effort but that is another game where we've beaten ourselves with poor discipline.

That thought was running through my mind!
And although it's the same finishing position as last year, it still feels an improvement.

| Has there been anything in the press on whether Toulouse or London will remain full time?
It's a tough ask remaining full time when there's no potential SL carrot at the end.
It would make for a better comp too if everyone is structured the same off the field.
The past few seasons have had an air of Wigan in the late 80's and early 90's about it

| Last year we finished 3rd but equally we were a loss away from being Halifax and out the play offs. This year it was a little more comfortable but you look back at some of those results and ask what might have been if Toulouse would have travelled to Odsal to play that game. So does it feel like progress, perhaps slight progress but I'd imagine the board will be a little disappointed given the investment in the team.
Recruitment for 2025 looks strong though and should address some of the weaknesses of this year's side.

| Great atmosphere in the Southbank today, I think the 2 sin bins did for us. So disappointing after the effort put in. Cracking game though, Be interesting to see what happens if Toulouse win next week.

| Also, what a time to lose one of our key players - Tom Holmes. Lehmann tried hard but it was a tough ask to slot in at the last minute and play in that type of game.

| Frustrating result that. We were in front for good spells. Managed to go in front while Gill was binned. Forced them into heaps of mistakes. Then a couple of quickfire tries while Myers was binned ruined it. Appo's late effort came a bit too late. Reminded me a bit of the Fax match where we didn't take advantage of our really good spell before halftime. We need to be more clinical. Shame to lose Fulton - would be interested in seeing that challenge given he went off for an HIA and didn't return. Wonder if that was his last game for us?
In terms of the season we have made progress since last year. We're building a decent squad, that does tend to take a few years. As was said above we were a more comfortable 3rd than last year and therefore the best semi-pro team. We really should've won yesterday so it's a disappointment that it's all over.
Areas to improve next year - discipline, kicking game and being more clinical in taking our chances. Hopefully the incoming halfbacks will help with some of that.
