What a game. Fair play both teams. Really gave it to each other. We don't make it easy for ourselves but fair play to the never say die attitude. Just need to be smarter.

Great determination to grind out the win when we tried so hard to gift it to the Eagles with some poor individual errors in key areas. Incredible composure from Lilley to slot over the drop goal in the dying seconds of the game. I felt that we were fractionally the better side overall and won the arm wrestle in the forwards. Scurr was immense during his stint in the second half and Appo appears to be back in form and caused problems for the Eagles. Considering we had some injury doubts coming into the game I'm very happy that we've managed to grab the win with a patched up side and secured a home tie against the Knights. We owe them one after the home debacle a few weeks ago.

Worrying news about Econ Scurr breaking his hand.

Scurr didn’t seem too worried about his hand, tough as teak! Let’s hope we have a few bodies back for York and the RFL disciplinary aren’t banning all and sundry this week!

Impressive performance even though there were some brain fart moments, they will need to be ironed out if we are going to make an impression in the play offs. We’ve done well to finish the season in 3rd, the last two results away from home have been particularly impressive and should give the side some confidence of being able to mix it if we can get past our bogey side.

somebody stop me, im still hungover and drunk from yesterday (absolute cracking champ season and needs more coverage) ... in a word 'infuriating' ... not to take away the guys that valiantly take the field and risk all for our colours, but some games we shouldnt have been taking the 'nil pois' a la eddie on its a knockout

Out of curiosity, who funds Sheffield? They have a great side but play on a glorified amateur venue in front of barely 1000 fans.
