Do Toulouse have dispensation from the RFL about the number of games they've played and entering the playoffs? To qualify for the playoffs a team must have completed a minimum of 16 games (out of 22). Toulouse have played 13 and have 2 games remaining.

Yes they do. Toulouse will finish top going into the playoffs and watching that game today all I can say is wow. Toulouse are streets ahead of anyone in this division.
We will not be their toughest opposition but they never looked stretched once in that game. Absolute walk in the park for them today and they were very good for their win. |

Quite rightly they have been given dispension
It's not their fault that none of the part-time teams in this league couldn't / wouldn't go over and play in Toulouse (we were, of course, one of them) |

To say we got a pasting I really enjoyed the game, we never gave up, Toulouse played scintillating stuff and the sun was out....
I don't think that team would finish in the bottom three in SL

I thought yesterday was weird. Approx 3k Bradford fans and almost no Toulouse supporters apart from players families watched a team of at least 8 non-French players outclass a team of predominantly local players (with a few Lancashire).
Toulouse are a good side who will get promoted heralded by articles like this:

It is Orwellian. At odds with any reality. Catalans played at Salford to 1800. TV deals are falling. Crowds dwindling. Did a small group of French ex-pats, perhaps in University departments across the region go the game yesterday? Was there 20/30 young urbane types clapping the Toulouse tries? NO. There is simply no evidence - a whiff of kool aid.
That a 'nouvea' (see what I did there) wealthy architect of the modern game now owns the Bulls and is ultimately responsible for the quality of our squad just felt surreal. And unpalatable. Before we even talk about how that happened. |

* Get absolutely mullered
* Lose key players to injury

When the squad was announced the result was kind of inevitable. Well done to the team for never giving up. Bad to lose Pickersgill, typical that this happens but it could happen in any game and despite the gripes about us playing at all I think we should fulfil fixtures if at all possible. Just because other clubs are allegedly gaming the system doesn't mean we should.
