| Agree with much that has been said; yes we were very wasteful at times and pretty poor with decisions at other times. How many tackles did Chissy miss? He really needs to look at his technique imo and get hold of players instead of trying to put in 'hits' all the time. The mistakes were beyond counting in truth and I do wish we could give the ball a bit more to the right side of the attack.
But then, there was so much good in there too; the big fat zero on the Whitehaven end of the scoreboard for a start. The performance of Jordan Lilley, Ethan Ryan and Steve Crossley - in that heat! The entire team contributed to the 'good', and there was much of it. For sure, a bit more steadiness and we could have got 60 or more -and it's infuriating that we didn't, but who wouldn't have taken a 46 point win before the game?

| I’d have taken a 46 point win over Whitehaven on Saturday morning. Plus we nilled them too.
So we’ve got improvement in us how is this a bad thing off the back of a result like that?

They don’t hand out prizes for being entertaining.
The scoreboard is all that matters for the next 8 weeks.

| Yep. York now don't have their HKR loan players. I think, they may still have Jordan-Roberts & Ormondroyd from Leeds. They signed the Australian Joel Edwards & then Whiteley from Keighley and a local amateur from York Acorns before the deadline to replace the 3 HKR guys. But I don't think they quite have the same squad strength for the next 6 games that they put out against us at Odsal.
We just need to keep ticking the games off, one at a time & I think the points for/against will look after itself.

| So we're currently 92 to the good.
I still wouldn't be surprised if we're down to second by this time next week but it's important we don't panic.
Just get the wins and I think we'll be ok. Our last three games of the season is where we might need to put the pedal down and push for big scores against West Wales and Hemel.

Ormondroyd is there until the end of the season on loan and Jordan-Roberts signed for York permanently.
Don't think they had any KR players today. But remember if they've played so many games for KR on Dual Reg (think it might be 8?), then they can carry on going on dual reg rather than having to commit to one team or the other.

| Well with both results in I think we can properly reflect on a positive week from a bulls point of view.
I am surprised that a lot on here were not happy with the result. We’ve just beaten 4th in the league (a team that had won 6 on the bounce before playing us) 46-0. With the added pressure to not lose a game with york breathing down the necks I think that is a great result.
Yes we could have scored a few more and made less errors but that’s something every team reflects on after a game.
In comparison, york beat crusaders 30-0 I imagine they will have expected to beat them by more and effectively we are back in the position we were after our lose to york, same points but with 92 PD better off. I can only imagine the reaction from some if we ‘only’ beat crusaders by 30 at home.. hardly entertaining rugby and all.
We are ticking off the wins and hopefully it continues. Yes we can improve but we are league 1. We have plenty of room for improvement. York play Saturday against the raiders so they will go top and probably wipe out the 92 difference but we need to do our own thing. We are still to go to the raiders too so hopefully that will even put.
After all, despite the negatives and glory we here about york (no disrespect intended but) we are top for a reason. We’ve scored more points and we’ve conceded less to boot. Hopefully us and york both gain promotion. Us in first and york via the playoffs.

Didn't their dual reg players go from KR to Leigh as part of a player deal? If that is the case, unless Leigh want to loan them to York, they ain't going back.

| I can't believe some posters thought 46 nil was a bad result the bulls did bomb lots of chances but I do think they tried to play a more expansive game , rather than five drives and, kick, this with various new players and particularly a new half back. Given time to settle the new players in we should be even better plus unexpectedly York bombed a great chance to eat into the points difference today.

| On paper we had a tougher game than York this weekend, for us to increase our points difference by 16 is a really good result. I was expecting York to get about 20 points closer to us after this round of games.
