Reported in total rugby league halifax had a plan a and b based around finishing in the top 4. Stated that plan b wouldnt be a pleasent outcome and cuts would have to be made. What makes it easier to get promoted from L1 is there is no contrived system that handicaps the team trying to get out of their devision. We don't have to form a squad capable of beating opposition in the league above us. We only have to get a team capable of being the best in the league we will be in.
