| Got to be one of the worst signings ever at the bulls. No metres gained, no points scored and not a single tackle made. To be honest he was a RU 7s player so his defensive record is no surprise.

No missed tackles though, so not that bad in defence.

Which instantly proves that he would have never fit in at Bradford anyway.

| Anyone seen about the issues Barrow have had with getting Visa's for players to play away in Toronto?
Thank god we don't have to go over there, we can't organise a single visa to get our coach here; never mind trying to sort visa's for a squad and coaching staff to go to Canada haha

| Shows what a minefield visas can be, we might not be as much to blame as people want to imply?

We'd certainly need a new hooker playing as no way in hell would Scott Moore be allowed in.

Leon has history too I believe!
To be fair the Barrow lads would have been let in, in time, they just filed too late to re-submit paperwork after initial issues.

| It's a strange about visas to be fair.
I seem to recall that Greg Bird couldn't get a work visa in England with us, but could get one in France which then allowed him to play (that is work) over here with Catalans. I admit, sometimes it takes a while to get my head around the procedures of our wonderful government. As my old Maths teacher used to say, "I'd like to see your workings out".

| Well, the title of this thread is a bit of "fake news" as he didn't so much quit over the visa issue as wasn't actually allowed a visa due to him not qualifying.
But that being said, it does raise an interesting point. Namely, if we're in a position to have someone turned down for a visa, that means we're actually in a position to actually apply for visas.

And by extension, what the chuff is going on with Toovey's?

Not necessarily. He could have applied for a visa in his spare time.
