.....and we don't like Sweet but really really like Crashley.

Thought another one had bitten the dust. At this rate, they'll be calling in leeds/wigan players to take charge as they have experience of reffing on a weekly basis

Good Friday derby's are great aren't they, think our lot are not accepted as worthy of a derby v Wigan over easter just yet.

We're doing ok Ste. Hopefully we'll be up to 0 points by the end of the Easter period.

We're still dependent on kids and loan players and a few injuries could really scupper things so not counting any chickens yet.

I was a little puzzled at Leigh's decision to go with Sheffield as DR Club when Bulls is so much closer for our lads to travel & their *Eagles* coach has a history of dislike of Leigh.
Then again it could all just be timing, Bulls weren't secure or had just cleared the mire at the point of the DR announcement I think & obviously these things take a while to iron out & be agreed

For me a DR with Bulls would be a much better fit.

FWIW I believe you will rebuild towards being at least a threat to SL given time & who knows, there may yet be a brainwave to return to franchising in the future, if you're in the right place/right time .... it could happen.

For our guys, after a schock but exciting opening 6 we are feeling the Earth beneath feet again, survival I think will = success.

Jolly decent of you to see how we are going. I've watched Leigh this season when on Sky, in my opinion you guys will not be anywhere near the million pound game, no reason to be in the bottom 4 from what I've seen so I think your survival will be assured

I notice Sweet is down to ref Fax on Easter Monday. Perhaps RFL realised they had accidentally put him down to ref both Fax games over Easter, and realised their mistake? (They don't seem to like having the same ref for the same team twice over Easter period).

These are the games that define the top 4. You can afford to lose to teams in the top 4 but its beating mid table quality teams like Bradford away from home which can make a top 4 team. As I said on the Fax board the reality is that this is the weakest Bradford team we have faced since their drop from SL but it would be far too easy to turn up like we did against Dewsbury and if we turn up complacent we will get beat.

Traditionally its a very slow game with Crashley in the middle so hopefully having that little bit extra quality in our pack will stand us in good stead.

It's a good call, as I think that's exactly what Bradford have been doing to Fax the last couple of years. Turning up all "billy big bollox" and thinking they'll win the game easily, then finding Fax being right up for it and turning us over. Looking at the squads this season, I think Fax's is stronger than ours right now, albeit we're not in as bad a position as we were a couple of months ago. Strange to see the boot almost on the other foot though and you saying you don't want Fax to be the ones turning up with complacency.

A slow, forward orientated game would suit Fax with their big pack. Our success in attack comes when Moore gets out of dummy half and commits players to him before getting the ball out wide. If we can get quick ball we'll make their defence work. It'll be a close game methinks.
