Lowes needs to stop with the excuses, man up and admit that the job is beyond his ability.

Time to stop attending until Lowes is removed or walks. It's a waste of time, money and fuel going to games at the moment.

We're in a rut but Jimmy won't walk and won't be sacked yet.

Not sure what the booing achieves and not sure what not attending achieves. Easy to spit your dummies out, harder to get behind your team when their performances frustrate the life out of you.

I'll stick behind Jimmy and the boys.

There are some big problems to sort out but there's also plenty of time to do it.

And if the community on here is saying this, I imagine the fair weather fans will find better things to do too. If the performances continue to be drab and awful, it will affect the gates, and ultimately the club will suffer. Something has to change soon.

Completely out enthused and outplayed by a Halifax team who were hardly world-beaters.

Everything seems to be happening in slow motion when we get the ball - slow, lobbed passes so the receiver inevitably has tacklers all over him as soon as he gets the ball, poor decision making, complete lack of fifth tackle options. Just seems to be a lack of ideas, lack of penetration, lack of anything really - other than one-up rugby followed by a hopeful kick.

Jimmy can give all the excuses he likes about Addy being ill, but the fact that he had to play indicates just how few options we have for that position, even despite having a squad of 30+

The Sheffield game is massive now...

Mr Green, Sit Jimmy in an uncomfortable chair in front of you and ask him the following:

Why are we losing to part time teams?
Why are we not getting a better performance from the team?
Do you belieive your style of coaching is getting the best out of the players and give examples?
Do you believe your results so far warrent a new contract if so why?
How are you going to improve the team?
Do you realise at this rate woman not get into the top 4?

Its about time Mr Green started to put pressure on the coach and team to perform, Oh and tell SF he may be making the tea under the watchful eye of the Tealady.

For a fulltime team with our first choice half backs and hooker and fullback playing we are playing the dullest most ineffective rugby.

We had a ton of possession and field position today yet looked hopeless in attack. Take out AOB and we'd be nilled.

What does Lowes have them doing in training? He said post match the passing was slow and we were too flat. Talk about bleedin obvious.

We'll struggle to make the top 4 playing like that.

In defence we look vulnerable. Fax broke our line plenty of times and only their Cock ups and our scrambled efforts kept them out.

Addy had a nightmare game. He was ill apparently. He shouldn't have played. Great call Jimmy.

Awful performance. We're so slow in attack it just isn't funny and as Bullseye rightly points out, we had all our main pivots playing so what excuse do we have? More worryingly where will the improvement come from? Gaskell is getting marked out of games because we simply have no other running threat now that Mullaney has gone. Lowes can talk all he wants about peaking at the right time of year and if that is the attitude to sub standard performances then I'll see you all in July and next year save myself some brass following the club home and away in the regular rounds.

Credit to Halifax they worked hard for one another and had some playmakers capable of getting them around the field. Why is it so hard for a club with comparatively much more resources to find a scrum half to do the same for us?

I think most of us would agree Halifax thoroughly deserved the win

I think most are just a bit preoccupied with discussing what has gone wrong with our side and the alarming decline so far this season.

I'm sure most would agree Halifax were good value for their victory. I said to my wife when we had a chance to snatch it at the end that it really would be unjust if we'd taken any points from that performance.

Lowes should have gone last year, he's clueless and is now struggling even more without Mullaney.
We did deserve the win today but I think most Fax fans would agree we were the better of two poor teams.
If Lowes stays I can see you missing out on the top 4, especially if you lose next week, it's very tight and sides may miss out by a point or so or even on points difference.

Yourself and Bullseye are spot on with this. If we'd had Gaskell or O'Brien missing, you may forgive a little the poor attack. But the spine of the team was our first choice, and the attack was awful. It wasn't just bad, it was terrible. It's really really worrying to be honest.

I will give credit to Fax in their defence. Sure we offered little in attack, but when we did try something other than pass to the bloke next to you, they defended well. How many times did they hold us up over the line? That takes guts and effort. Something they had so much more than we did. With the exception of Dale Ferguson, who was the only player that looked dangerous. But that was down to pure balls and guts, not down to tactics or particular skill. Just his determination to bounce people off him.

Maybe you need to go into meltdown like Leigh did.
