| Quote: Bullseye "Cheers glow.
Now another important question. Where's the nearest pub selling a pint of decent real ale and can I get a decent pie in the ground?'" Hi Bullseye, come and have a drink with us in the town centre plenty of real ale pubs, we go in the George an Dragon next to the bus station, real ale from £1.69 a pint and you would be made welcome by us Leythers, no children aloud in this pub though and don't serve meals but plenty of pubs around that area that do sell food. Hope to see some of you on the day and have a safe journey.

| Park in town centre 10 min walk to ground or about 1000 free spots around the stadium, parsonage retail is close to leigh miners who also have a car park
Personally recommend the Britannia pub on St. Helens rd 5 min to ground, good ales and friendly
Safe journey

| Great to see the welcoming messages on this forum from the Leigh fans. So nice after two years of bile from other super league clubs forum members who seemed to want to hang draw and quarter us as a result of our problems. One question though - what the hell is lobby!!

| Not a pearl barley fan. It's got a funny texture - like sugar puffs. The rest of the ingredients sound alright tho.

| Quote: Bullseye "I agree with M@islebugs in that Addy can cover dummy half if O’Brien needs a breather. I don’t think Halafihi or Conroy are ready just yet and we looked much more organised with O’Brien on the field.
I’d still be tempted to pick Lauaki on the bench as he can bust a tackle and provide impact after the first 20mins. We’re going to need our most experienced front row on the field for the first 20mins as I expect Leigh to fly out of the blocks. Composure will be the key, we need to be patient, take our chances and not throw miracle passes like we did at Leeds.
Some positions pick themselves like Mullaney at fullback and the halfbacks. Same with the starting front row. I’m not sure what the state of our injuries are but I’d like to think that the likes of Uaisele, Baille, Addy and Ferguson will be back. Would like to see Fleming back too. I’d go with the following
How do you pronounce Uaisele and Siejka? I've taken a kind of break from all things Bulls for the last few months, a detox after the depression of the last few years. No idea who the new players are. Just hoping they've got big letters on their jerseys on Sunday.

Down here you’ll find most clubs welcoming we’ve learned we actually need one another the only place were we compete is on the pitch.

Every year there’s a 500 page debate as to whether real Lobby should have carrots in it, don’t you go bringing your swede and barley stuff to the table.

Uaisele is like "Wasail", so each time he scores you down a pint of cider.
Siejka is "seeker" or "syker", so he'll either be invisible or be as good as Paul Sykes.
And Tahraoui is "tarrawee", or "tarraweeeeeeeeee" if you're on a slide.

| Really looking forward to this game, should be a fantastic atmosphere and a real top quality game, whoever wins this will get a real momentum boost. Really lookingforward to seeing the LSV full & loud.
Quote: Bull Mania " Negatives - ... Last year they seemed to win at a canter, the challenge for them is how they react when things aren't all going their way. Can their main players who were great last year, step up when the pressure is really on? Scoring 4 tries when you're hammering Barrow, is different of coming up with the right play when it's 18-18 with 5 minutes left. '"
That's not entirely true, quite a few games last season were very close, Keighley away, both Halifax games, the Dewsbury games spring to mind but there were a few others) we know how to grind out a win in close tight games, that's probably the main reason why we did win so many last season.
As for pubs starting on the opposite side of town you've got, Thomas Burke (Whetherspoons), White Lion (Allgates), Boar's Head (Moorhouses), George & Dragon & The Goose (On either side of the bus station, selling cask ale), Across Leigh Bridge The Centurion (rugby pub) & The Britannia (Neither with cask ale though unfortunately); there’s Leigh Miners ARLFC just across the canal from the LSV site and Leigh East ARLFC (sometimes they both have 1 cask ale if you're very lucky but not often), Whistling Wren (Marstons) & in the ground The Legends Bar (though no cask ale oes have pre-match entertainment, usually a quiz, interviews with past players & players not playing, really good atmosphere).
Quote: Bull Mania "what the hell is lobby!!'"
DON'T ASK THAT! Your forum is going to become hijacked with 8 pages of arguments about Carrots now.

| Quote: BeechwoodBull "One question though - what the hell is lobby!!'" It's a stew which is the same as Lancashire hotpot or Scouse. The rainy west side of the Pennines have the niche in stews that look like dirty dishwater.
