We have currently 30 in the squad and, for my money, Jimmy will make up his 17 for the day based on the opposition. Some games will be 4 prop games and some probably won't be.

I'd definitely agree that the more intense games will warrant a four prop approach and that that would be our 'best' side.

To be honest I don't think he looks that out of shape in the t&a photo. Obviously he won't be anywhere near match fitness but I was expecting a lot worse.

Probably just as well, as it's certainly too late to get in a pre-season at this stage - not that I guess anyone is expecting any 80 minute performances from him.
