Did you count them? What was your survey method? Was it the ever reliable "I can see a lot of Huddersfield shirts in the immediate vicinity of me?"
It's just that the difference between that figure and the crowd is 2800, which is more than 50% of the average Huddersfield home crowd. You're deluded if you think that's what you brought today.
The last home game was against London and it was 1200 lower than today's. That seems a reasonable guess for the number of Gnats there.

Can't understand it. Hudds fans on here telling us how they brought 20k supporters when on their own site they were all queuing up to say how they weren't coming to Odsal so they didn't have to give us money. Perhaps the should change the name from Girlyfarm to Fantasy Island. Can you imagine, when the Giant Eagles play HKR there won't be a ground big enough to hold all the supporters they bring.
