| Unless they are offered dispensation??
That would be an awful situation for clubs - 2 Relegate, not including FEV and no London.

Not sure I'd entirely agree with that.
These clubs wanted P&R, and being relegated is a part of that. The whole idea of giving clubs time to 'acclimatise' is part of the licensing system and as such anathema to the 'flatcappers', surely?

| I agree, would be an awful proposition, but the rfl are making the decisions...

| Nothing would surprise me as far as the RFL are concerned. I agree it would be madness to make any club void of relegation because they will 'struggle'. The two teams at the bottom of the league ladder at the end of the season should be relegated, as they have accumulated the least amount of points. It is unfair for a team who finish 12th to be relegated. It should be a level playing field, apart from Bradford of course, who are only entitled to half the sky money.

| Fev seem to be downplaying the possibility of them being in SL on Radio Leeds, saying they feel that if London drop out SL will go with 13 reducing to 12 at the end of the 2014 season.
Or who knows...

A 13 team SL will make magic weekend interesting.
Have London officially gone into admins then?

| Not to my knowledge. Though, when the expectation is being talked about almost as a fait accompli by club officials on the radio, it seems more and more likely.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| 2points.
When we were in admin last year, the Rfl (or was it SLE?) did put in a bid to run Bradford directly. So it is something that has been considered before.
Second, am I the only one who is irritated by the general perception that the RFL gave us special treatment & pots of cash? When in reality they prolonged the pain, allowed bigger debts to build up (so that a bigger share of sky money would be deducted) and took our only asset as compensation (making them a preferred creditor effectively).
So London, beware of the Rfl bearing gifts....

| I think it was pretty well acknowledged [though clearly that doesn't make it automatically true] that the RFL/SL were only trying to 'flush out' some genuine investors [as distinct from the ones we all assumed to be floating around in the background and orchestrating events] and never had any real intention of running the club.
To be honest, it isn't really possible for the governing body to run a club - too much 'stuff' to get in the way, but the tactic - if they feel there are other people in the wings - may be worthwhile. That said, London don't have the intricate backstabbing shenanigans going on in the background as we did, so conditions aren't really the same.

| SLE only interest was making sure we fulfilled our remaining fixtures as it would have been a right pain in the backside for them if we hadn't. Once the end of season came we would have been dropped like a stone.

Oh yes, I'm quite sure that was in their minds, though you can't "just drop something you've bought and paid for, which would have been the situation if they'd gone ahead with their plan. In any case getting the early release of TV monies pretty much guaranteed we'd last out the season.

| Warrington have taken on Phil Jones the Broncos head of youth for 15 years. Very clever move.
