Would you say the "is not likely to bring in a replacement" comment is linked solely to the hooking role? We have spoken in many lengths about our squad not being big enough, i just hope that his wage is being re-invested somewhere into playing personnel .
Its becoming a bit of a joke now, i know with us being a team who are more likely to miss the play off than reach them, then we are going to struggle to keep and attract the better players, but looking in it doesnt look good. We can only hope the Kearney rumour is just that.

The getting paid late thing was unfortunate but hardly the end of the world. They got paid shortly after and they all got paid during the period of administration unlike most people.

Early summer, there were some rumours about L'Estrange having an "NRL Break" clause in his contract allowing him to leave if an NRL club made him an offer. No mention of that in the T&A piece.
He's leaving pre-season, after 5 hard years at the club, to raise his daughter in Aus, with family rather than in the North of England. Totally understandable.
