| It doesn't surprise me that the Roosters have signed Curtis. He may be arrogant, but he is a talented player. He isn't good enough for first grade matches yet in the NRL, but in a couple of years he'll be a lot closer.

| Hope he has more patience with the Roosters when he's playing in the reserves for another few years.

He's excited to play in the 'Holden Cup' next year....Is that second team? Obviously miles above SL level. He seems like a silly wee laddy who cant wait for his turn to come. The article in the T&A was pure childishness!

Why does he have to start badmouthing and say the story re his mother was a scam!!
I hope I`m wrong because he was a good prospect but I think he could be trouble and upset other players. Just watched the Slammin Sam video, I think he ought to watch it and see what not only a great player Sam is but also how he conducts himself.'"
Totally agree. Can't see him playing NRL for a fair few seasons at least.

| You've got to remember he only just turned 19. Give him two more years of development - both physically and mentally - and he'll be ready. I keep using Shaul at Hull as an example of a quality fullback not making the 1st team until they turn 21.
Curtis will now be coached and conditioned at the current reigning NRL champions, there is pretty much no better place for him to develop. He will be a cracking prospect in a few years time, which is why it's so upsetting to hear that he left our club under a cloud.
If he had left with our best wishes and with fond memories of the club then I'd be optimistic about seeing him in a Bulls shirt again one day. Unfortunately after all that's gone on, I can't see that happening now, which is a damn shame.

| Let them go, they are prospects and decent players at the best. It's not like we are losing a Sam Burgess or a Leon Pryce is it? If they don't want to be part of the professional hard working culture that FC is striving to set in place then I for one don't want them to be here. Now more than ever players like James Donno, Adam O'B, Tom Olbison and Danny Addy are important to us. These are hard working loyal players that we all want, not some show boat local big bollokks that believe their own hype.

It seems no-one is immune to pulling a surprise from out of the bag.

We shouldn't forget the malign influence of agents whispering in their earholes either..It's no wonder that young lads get their heads turned.

I look forward to seeing him play for Newtown in the NSW Cup. With another Englishman heading there.

Both Bateman and Whitehead had the same agent I think - does he represent anyone else at the Bulls?
